“Loved it”

Very affordable! Great location, great parking, gorgeous lobby and extremely friendly staff. We entered our room and were completely excited. All of the rooms have a balcony, we were lucky enough to overlook the bay and Fager's Island...such a gorgeous view! To the left we had a bedroom, tv and large closet...then a large bathroom with a whirlpool tub, a kitchen area - stove, microwave, dishes, and large refrigerator, and then the living area - kitchen table, tv, pull-out couch, and table. Everything was very clean, a few wall-stains here and there, but nothing really dirty. I tried out the whirlpool tub, very loud and the water splashed everywhere, ended up not using it at all. Our iron didn't work properly so we called and within 2 minutes we had a new iron. Very prompt and friendly service. The only flaw that we had to deal with was that we left doughnuts out, sealed in a package and woke up to about 6 or 7 very small ants around the package. We called the front desk, and again, they came up within 2 minutes with ant traps and spray. I didn't see any ants after that. The balcony is very small, big enough for 2 people to stand on, not big enough for any chairs. We heard a few complaints about the noise from Fager's Island at night, but if you close your balcony door, you hear nothing. In closing, an excellent deal for the price, perfect location (one block from the beach) - cannot wait to return!!

“Stay at The Coconut Malorie Resort”

This was a very nice hotel and I definitely got more than my money's worth. We stayed in a standard room which had a king sized bed, a pull out queen sized bed (not very comfortable though- a typical pull out bed) a table with chairs, and a partial kitchen- refrigerator/freezer, sink, microwave or toaster oven (not sure which since I didn't use it). It also had a jacuzzi bathtub which sprayed water all over the walls and shower curtain when the water came out- (maybe your room would be different), a tv and a DVD player. The hotel didn't have an indoor pool-just an outdoor one. It also has a library, game room (which we didn't see) and computer access. Our room also had a balcony somewhat overlooking the ocean. Since it was a few blocks away from the beach there were buildings blocking the view, but we could see the ocean a little bit. We enjoyed our stay at The Cocuonut Malorie Resort.

“Love this place!”

This is the second time we've stayed and it's been great. Our room was fantastic. We did have two issues: the couple we went with, their room was not cleaned; and the parking lot filled up with patrons of Fager's Island. There was not one empty space anywhere near the hotel Saturday evening. But the hotel had us park in front of the hotel under the awning usually reserved for registration so it was fine.

“An overall great hotel!”

The lobby is beautiful, the staff is excellent (extremely friendly), the room I stayed in was beautiful and comfortable with a great view. We played pool in the billiard room and had a great time. The ONLY thing that wasn't the best was the tile floors in the room, not the most comfortable for walking around.

“Impressive bayside hotel”

I was very impressed with this hotel. It was very clean and had a huge bathroom. The decor in the room was very nice and the bed was comfy. There was a DVD player so I was able to watch a movie I brought along on a big screen instead of my little portable DVD player screen. Overall I would definitely recommend this one! It was great at the off season rate, but I hear even at the in season rate it's a pretty good deal.

“Second Stay and No Complaints”

My second stay at the Coconut Malorie was great. The view of the bay was beautiful. The staff was friendly and attentive. The room was clean and maintained well. I particularly enjoy the fresh coffee in the lobby in the morning and evening. It is nice to be able to grab a cup of coffee and go back to your room before you go out. You do hear garbage trucks in the morning at Fager's Island but it lasts only about 5 minutes. I'll definitely be back for a third stay.

“The Coconut Malorie”

Great view on both city and sea side. Great price for the quality and the night help was so nice, the nicest that I have ever encountered working at a hotel. They have coffee in the lobby 24 hrs. The rooms themselves were nice, huge bathroom in even the studio room and a huge tv and seperate eating area. Overall very pleasant experience

“Great place no one knows about”

The Malorie is on the bay, close to Fager's. Any comparisons are really not in order, but it is a great hotel and definitely worth the price, considering the price of some hotels on the oceanside and their condition. The staff is pleasant and welcoming, which almost seems to be a rarity these days in any service industry. The rooms are clean, spacious and well kept. Stayed only one night, but considering a return trip of a longer length!
