“Wiil go back”

We only stay there for one night and this is our first trip to Ocean city. The hotel locate right in front of boardwalk, it's very easy to walk around, the hotel staff are very nice and helpful.

“Good location”

The front desk staff was really nice & helpful! Room was neat & clean. Great location, right on the boardwalk, about 1.25 miles from the inlet.

“Good Value, Lack of hot water”

Overall a nice place to stay. The water in the shower didn't consistently stay hot. The water in the indoor heated pool was not very warm. I would stay there again though, based on price and over all experience.

“Relaxing Mini-Vacation”

We enjoyed our stay even though the room was a bit tight, with poor lighting and no closet. The hotel pool was a nice treat - heated with towels provided for our use. Room was listed as "no-view" but we could see the bay and the ocean from our balcony. Over-all it was a nice place and we couldn't beat the price!

“Overall Howard Johnson's - Just Okay”

We stayed at the Howard Johnson's on the boardwalk at Ocean City MD for two nights over Memorial weekend. For starters I didn't like the parking garage behind the hotel...there was multiple levels and we ended up having to park on the very top level and then walking down 4-5 flights of stairs due to no elevator or other way to get into the hotel. We thought the hotel room looked nice and included everything we expected in a hotel room including free wi-fi. The big problem with the room was that the bathrooms were made specifically for "little people". Very small. You can literally stand in the middle and extend your arms out and touch each wall. After our first night in our 2nd floor room we woke up to find ants crawling on our sheets, blankets, etc. The hotel gladly switched us to another 5th floor room which was "supposedly" the same. We didn't notice right away but we went from having queen size beds to full size in the new room. Again, okay for little people. The other issue we had with the room is the air conditioning. We were surprised at the end of our first day that our room wasn't getting cool and after speaking to a maintenance person we realized the reason. They setup a new policy and the air conditioning units turn off after you leave the room, and then turn on when you return. Took a while to cool the room down. Lastly, we ate at Brothers Bistro at the hotel...wait staff was very slow. We noticed other tables not getting drinks/food quickly.

“Never stay during Seniors week.”

Never stay during Senior Week. Hotel rents to six kids per room. No adult supervision. They are up drinking and making noise all night. Second night they put us on another floor. Was not quite as loud. Small bathroom. Outdoor pool was cemented over and made into seating for restaurant. Food was OK.

“Too Loud”

The walls were very thin. We could hear all the children screaming in the next room. Our room was right next to the elevator, so we could hear all the noise from the elevator. We had a king size bed, but the room was very small with a horrible view. We were right on top of the next building which happened to be a restaurant. All the employees were outside smoking constantly. Across from the balcony was the parking garage. I would not recommend this hotel.
