“Good value for the price”

Our room was spacious and had plenty of sleeping area - two full beds and a pull out sofa. There was a balcony, small bathroom, and a complete kitchen area including: stove, microwave, toaster, full size refrigerator, and everything else you would need to cook a meal. The staff was friendly, the room was clean, and the location was excellent. The pool was small but clean, and it didn't really matter because we went to the beach anyway. I am very picky when it comes to hotels, but I would stay at this hotel again. The location was perfect and the place was very clean. I thought this hotel was an excellent value for the price.

“Great beach base”

Check in was easy. There is a loading zone right in front of the hotel, and a few on street parking spots, but the majority of parking is in a lot across the street. Our room overlooked the pool. The balcony was a great feature. THe room was pretty basic- 2 full size (NOT queen) beds, and a sleep sofa. A full size fridge, cooktop, microwave, sink, dishes, made it easy to store an prepare leftovers/ snacks. Maid service came early, and since we were only staying 3 days, we just did a towel exchange at the door and went back to bed. THe rooms have been updated, and ours had been abused a bit- a crack in the sink, and crack on the wall, but overall the room was a great base for our trip. The TV never did improve- probably should be replaced, but we weren't at the beach to watch TV! THe kids in the pool can get noisy at times... the elevator was slow and was the dirtiest part of the hotel. There was always trash and dirt on the floor. This is a great basic home base for a trip to OC. It is on the north end of the boardwalk. Street noise wasn't too bad, and the beach side was never very crowded, as there aren't too many big hotels in the immediate area. There is a hose at the pool to rinse off with, and it is nice to relax in after the ocean water. THe office is a barrier between the pool and the street, so you're not right out there on the road, like some places.

“casablanca stay”

I was very pleased with the hotel, it was clean, and the kitchenette was perfect. Our room had a nice sitting area with a sofa bed. The changing room could have been nicer if it had a shower. I plan to return again in the near future.

“Clean”

The hotel is clean and well-run, with friendly employees. They gave us a parking pass before our room was ready so we could enjoy the beach. We would return.

“Pleasantly surprised!!”

This was my first stay here. I booked it because of the great price on Expedia! I was a little unsure about booking a hotel I knew nothing about but was I pleasantly surprised! I rented an efficiency room for the same price other hotels were charging for a simple room. The room had a little kichen area plus dining area. The room housekeeping staff was very pleasant and the room was very clean! The hotel is 1/2 block to the boardwalk. And the room I was in had an oceanview, eventhough it wasn't booked as oceanview. I was very satisfied with my stay here and plan to return soon!!

“will definately return”

We stayed in an efficiency on the first floor. The room had everything we needed to cook / eat in. Very convenient to beach and pool. The porch was gated with a locked hinge so the kids couldn't get out. The pool area was gated also. We really enjoyed our stay and will definately return!

“Big room, small price”

I was very pleased with the room at Casablanca. I ended up sharing with two other people, and we had 2 double beds and a fold-down couch, so no one had to share or sleep on the floor. The strange thing was that this same hotel was listed on several other sites as requiring a two-night stay for the discounted price, but only on Expedia could I get the lower price for a one night stay.

“At first reading all the reviews made us nervous. We were pleasantly suprised.”

We stayed at the hotel in the middle of the week. The staff was friendly, and our room was very clean. We stayed on the 5th floor. I would recommend this hotel on a budget. Easy access, and the rooms with the deluxe efficiency were very worth it with little kids.
