“Great value in Ocala”

We were more than satisfied with the Ocala Red Roof Inn & Suites. The room was clean, service was excellent, and the pool was crystal clear. If we return to Ocala, we'll almost surely stay there again.

“Good for the price.”

Basic, comfortable accommodations. Breakfast was all starches (packaged muffins, bagels, danish and cereals). We stayed four nights and many items were empty when we got down for breakfast. However, the staff promptly restocked the items when we brought it to their attention. Coffee was decent and available all day (along with hot chocolate and cappacino). When we checked in, we were told that the room cost more than was confirmed by Expedia. The clerk continued to insist that the rate that Expedia gave me was incorrect. However, the rate was approved when the clerk called the manager. The ice machine was broken on our floor, so we had to go to another floor for ice, which wasn't really a problem. The beds were comfortable and the shower was good. We would probably stay here again in the future.

“Perfect for what we needed”

Just what I would expect, nothing fancy but clean. The bed was comfortable and the front desk staff was friendly. It's right off I-75 so it was great for us.

“Shabby but nice”

The people were very friendly and everything was clean, but the building is over due for a make over. Tile in the elevator lobby has been patched with non-matching tile and grout, the breakfast coffee maker wasn't working right and everything looked worn and shabby. But the beds were comfortable and it was not bad for the price.

“It was just "ok"”

The hotel was out of date. Stayed at a much nicer hotel within past week for same price. Continental breakfast consisted of pre-packaged danish and bagels and some fruit. It seemed to be fairly clean but no microwave or mini-fridge in rooms.
