“Ocala's #1 Convention and Stay”

The checkin and room service were exceptional and definetly, recommend to those travelers looking for a relaxing facility throughout. Access was abit challenging to locate even for the GPS to locate the entrance to this location. But once found I was relieved to find all in great character for this Hotel. Parking too was a bit challenging but a wedding reception was in full throttle so no real big issue. A small walk was good. Thanks for a great experience and easy reservation through the online service. Many thanks again

“"Wonderful hotel, already booked my next stay"”

I stayed at this hotel because I'm relocating to Ocala and it was close to my realtor whom I was meeting to look at houses, the bed was extremely comfortable, room was clean, attractive lobby and had the best Bloodymary ever from the ground floor bar. I liked your hotel so much I've already booked a return trip to look at more real estate. I have only one negative comment to address...why isn't there any kind of fan/venting the bathroom?

“Good Place to Stay in Ocala”

This is a nice Holiday Inn. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean. Be aware that you need to booked a room with double beds if you want a bathroom that has a bath tub. The first time we stayed in this hotel we had a room with a King bed and there was only a shower in the bathroom. I prefer a tub and when booking this past time when I inquired, this is how I found this out. The hotel is right off the interstate, so it is close to all types of shopping and eatery. Room rates were average. Not the cheapest, not the most expensive either. Overall good value for the area based on my own travel experience. Front desk employees were cordial. Would stay in this hotel again.

“GREAT hotel!!”

This is a brand new hotel. Great decor, friendly staff and very clean. The beds are Tempurpedic and SO comfortable! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area!

“Hot sauna!”

The two most important things to me for a hotel are the bed and the bathroom. While the bathroom was definitely adequate, the bed was a standout: The memory foam mattress was luxurious. I also have to gush about the sauna. Honestly, this was the main reason we chose to stay here, despite most hotel saunas being barely warm. This sucker got downright hot -- to the point of making our ears burn! That's a good thing, by the way. It was made by a Finnish company, and we all know the Finns invented/perfected the sauna. The workout room wasn't quite so impressive, as it was only a few cardio machines, but pushups are equipment-free. The Holiday Inn Ocala's location was good, though it was slightly hidden. It's right off the main drag with plenty of places to shop/eat (Yamato steakhouse and Cracker Barrel were both great). The hotel's decor was green, green and more green. It was almost comically obnoxious at times, but we enjoyed it. We thought the check-in clerk mentioned a free breakfast on weekends, though another clerk seemed to have no idea what we were talking about when asked. We also were upgraded to a handicap suite upon check-in, which was nice. Next time we find ourselves in Ocala (if there is a next time), we'll definitely be staying at the Holiday Inn Ocala again.

“Love the beds”

I've wanted to try the Tempurpedic mattress for a long time - a great chance to do so in a nice hotel. The restaurant was excellent as well.

“Wow”

I thought I was staying at one of the plush Las Vegas casino hotels. I never imagined that Ocala Fl. had a hotel as nice as this. The room was very roomy and comfortable. The hotel restaurant was outstanding and we choose to dine their instead of eating out.
