“German Hospitality”

The Heritage Inn is an out-of-the-way setting convenient to the beautiful, pastoral Ocala horse country. The rooms are lovely. It is a bit of a drive to dining in the evening. The highway location is busy but the Inn is set back with a courtyard in the center of each suite of rooms.

“Wedding at Rainbow Springs”

It's very close to the Rainbow Springs State Park and not too far from town... just a 15 - 20 minute drive... so the location was convenient. The room was beautiful and very spacious. The area was very quiet and secluded. Now for the bad... it's supposed to be a Bed and Breakfast... but there was no breakfast either day we stayed. We checked several times and there wasn't anyone in the office the entire time we stayed there... so service wasn't bad... it was nonexistent. The plumbing sucked. The water came out of the shower head at a trickle and the bath wasn't much better. The hot water took forever to come on and didn't stay on long. The TV made a loud buzzing noise the entire time it was on and the password they left for the wireless didn't work. All in all, we loved staying at the place... the bed was super comfy and it was the closest we could get to the park. The other things were just minor inconveniences... but I'd rather people know about it if any of those things are a deciding factor.
