The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood, within walking distance of some local attractions. It is close to the S-Bahn station for easy access to Munich and it has a few nice restaurants very close-by. The breakfast was very good. But the best thing is the staff, especially Rebecca, who was so helpful to my family. No matter what we needed, they were always able and willing to provide it. We would encourage anyone going to visit Munich to consider staying at the Hotel Blauer Karpfen.

The hotel is very clean and the staff were lovely! The decorations and amenities are a bit basic and dated, but for a couple of nights in Oberschleissheim, it's the perfect place. We would stay again if we returned!

Village local. Used as an overflow hotel for a conference. Owner reliably provided transport to the venue but not really suited for city access.

Great place to stay/visit.
The staff was very friendly and covered the desk, dining room and deliveries. Great people. The room was large and clean. You could open windows or use AC.Great location for visiting Dachau & Schleissheim Castle. Beautifulpark with beer garden in walking distance. Ground transport drivers had some issues locating. For the most part very accessible. Walk-able to local train station. Breakfast in the attractive dining room was very good!

Great location to visit Munich area with a car
We had a very pleasant stay. We appreciated that there were several parking options, and the hotel was very easy to find. There were two restaurants within very short walking distance, and the walks to the palaces and train station were also quite short. The breakfast was fantastic. The room was very comfortable. Coffee and pastries were available throughout the day in the lobby, and some gluwein appeared in the evening. Overall, we had a great experience and would return. Our only complaint was that we got a slow start one morning and the woman very much wanted to clean our room, to the point where she stood directly outside of our door and loudly talked (on the phone? to someone else?) until we vacated. We told her 30 minutes, but felt a lot of pressure to get out.

Nice Hotel....
We had only one night in Munich. This hotel was a great spot to stay. It was very close to Dachau, so we visited the Concentration Camp expectantly. The hotel was right down the road from the S-Bahn so we were able to get a ticket from the receptionist and she gave us a schedule so that we could travel to the Marienplatz with difficulty. The free breakfast was very impressive, had so many options. The staff were all very helpful and friendly.

Brillant location
The hotel was easy to find and a great location for the Schloss and the air museum, and only 700m to station for trains to Munich (5.40Euro e/w and 3 an hour). There is plenty of parking but you need to check in before you can access the rear car park as you need your room card to open barrier. Our room had an aeronautical theme so I guess the other rooms had there own theme, the facilities were clean and all in full working order. The room had a kettle and fridge, the only slight negative for us was the bed was hard but that's down to personnel choice. The breakfast was very good I even had smoked salmon one morning, there is a Greek restaurant next door and other restaurants nearby. We visited the Bier garten next to Schloss had a couple of beers and some food in the evening, a really pleasant evening in the setting sun.

Comfortable enough for 1 or 2 nights
Located close to Dachau Concentration camp it was an ideal place to stay for my visit to the camp. Having to pay for the underground car park was a bit excessive but it meant my motorbike was safe. The room was fairly small, only 1 English TV channel (CNN) and although I had requested a double-bed I got that but with a single duvet! The staff spoke English well-enough and their continental breakfast was excellent. Hotel was clean, tidy and there is a lift from the basement garage to all floors.

The hotel was an easy walk to the train station. The front desk sold daily tickets for the train and it was an easy commute into Munich. The hotel was easy to get to, and had free easy parking. It felt clean overall, however, my daughter complained that her blanket smelled like, "french fries, and not in a good way."

My daughters and I enjoyed our stay here. We were there during the summer and it was nice to have air conditioning in our room. The hotel also provides a typical German breakfast as well as other choices. Most of the staff were fluent in English, which was very helpful!

Beautiful vineyard, very peaceful, a wonderful infinity pool (I want to go there again when the weather is warmer!!) Delightful owner, delicious wine (Amarone). a bit of a winding narrow road to get there, but well worth it! We took a beautiful walk around the area. We will definitely fit this place into our next trip to Italy - for at least two nights.
