“Very nice hotel.”

We were in Oakland for the Raiders game. The hotel was in walking distance of the coliseum which was just what we were looking for. The rooms were very nice and clean. The staff was friendly.

“Good Value”

Good Value but off the beaten path if you do not have a car. If you are driving there are numerous restaurants 3 miles away around Broadway St. in Oakland

“My thoughts”

Motion sensor lights above the sync and bed were very annoying. Took forever to get hot water to the sink. Ran out of tissue paper the first night. It took them 2 days to replace. Dish network in the room had HBO but not ESPN. Not sure why that was the case. Free breakfast was limited in choice. Neighborhood is scary driving in but the area is well lit with a large brick fence around it. Not sure I would recommend this place if you have little kids.

“Good, for a 1-star hotel”

This branch was in a pretty industrial, scary neighborhood, but the owners keep a tidy operation. The beds come with only one sheet and an old blanket, so you should bring warm clothes you can sleep in - you can't request more blankets until their linen service pulls their up their truck in the morning. Still, it's a bargain if you're attending a big event in San Francisco and don't want to pay an exorbitant amount.
