“Most likely would go back.”
My overall opinion is one of complete satisfaction. The issue with only one mirror definately created delay and each of us trying not to hamper the other. Also as far as the hotel goes in the bath/toilet area there was not a hook anywhere to hang your bathrobe or clean clothes or etc. In other words we had to walk out from showering naked to an area to dress which most likely was the mirror/sink area and was occupied by the other person trying to be done and out of the way. The other option was to keep the drapes closed and tip toe passed the "mirror /sink person and then dress from the bedroom area which housed suitcases. This was inconvenient at best. Also, we had one hand towel-one bath towel and one only wash cloth. I'm not in the habit of washing my face with the same cloth I wash my body with and also not happy with either a towel for my body or a towel for my hair. Each day we had to call of extras. I would have thought that request would have been noted and carried over to each day. It is the only hotel stay that I have encountered this particular towel, wash cloth issue-and also the one mirror only issue. The staff was great in every other way. /
“Would go back to this Hotel anytime”
Wiould go bacik anytime to the Hotel. Great breakfast and employees were a great help
“Good Experience”
We stayed 7 nights. Front desk was very accommodating in getting us a better room due to the longer stay. One side of the building faces a house with a lot of barking dogs. Make sure you ask not to be facing that side. If you make telephone calls, you need to open a telephone account. We stayed there when there was a tsunami warning on the island. Hotel staff could have taken better steps to inform us on their emergency plan along with instructions. Our friends in another hotel got notices under their doors on added information. Otherwise, a very pleasant stay in this hotel.
“Can't wait to go back”
This hotel was great, better than I expected.Staff were friendly and efficent.Room was clean, modern and very comfortable.Location was 1/2 block from the beach.I would stay here again.Fantastic!
“30th Birthday and 50th State visited, very impressed”
Location, location, location!!! We looked online for months figuring out where we were going to stay. Even though this hotel wasn't a 4 or 5 star hotel, it was rated VERY high by travelers and I now know why. In addition to being just 1 block away from the beach the hotel was very clean, well maintained, and the staff was excellent. We were upgraded to an ocean and Diamond Head view without even asking. We were there during the Tsunami and the staff was very calm and helped us remain calm as well when the emergency evacuation was going on. We were within walking distance to everything and preferred being more towards Diamond Head since it was a little quieter. We have had many friends stay at more expensive hotels but I would stay here again in a heartbeat and would recommend it to anyone.
“Can't wait to go back”
We really enjoyed our stay at Waikiki Resort Hotel. Our room was very simple, but VERY clean. The staff members at Waikiki Resort were very friendly and always willing to help!!!!! This was our first trip to Hawaii, so we really appreciated all the help we received from the staff. We are already planning our trip for next year and without a doubt we will be staying at Waikiki Resort Hotel!!!!
“Great Value”
Nice cozy hotel with friendly service. Room was clean and comfortable. Only drawback was that the pool was located where people from the surrounding buildings can look down on you. So we chose the beach instead, which is just a few steps from the hotel. Korean restaurant in the hotel had great food and great service.
“Can't wait to go back”
Great hotel and service overall.
“Great Value, Great Hotel”
Most hotels in Waikiki are within the same cleanliness range, with no real dumps. However the Waikiki Resort Hotel was a 1 minute walk to the beach, very friendly staff, good food in the lobby restaurant and somewhere I would definitely return to. We got such a good deal on Expedia for 4 days and 3 nights as well.
“Would definetly go back - can't wait”
Pleasantly surprised how much we enjoyed our stay, booking on line can be a little stressful. All comments with respect to this hotel were bang on - clean, quiet, close to everything you need, and just a block from the most famous beach. When we go back we will stay here again.
