“Great Hotel; Great Value!!!”

Because of the great price we received online, we were expecting a mediocre hotel. Just the opposite! While the outside does look a little mediocre, the interior was excellent. Not only were we impressed with our condo, but we were also impressed with the incredible service from everyone in the hotel. We were also shocked by the location of the hotel. We were right on the beach and in prime walking distance from other Waikiki attractions. The restaurant on the rooftop, Sorentos, was a wonderful experience...and GREAT Italian food. Enjoy a live jazz band as you eat an incredible dinner and check out the panoramic view. Our hotel offered many nights of free entertainment, such as live Hawaiian music and dancing. You can also see fireworks from the hotel deck every Friday night. We are definitely staying at this hotel again!!!

The only thing that was disappointing was when I tried using the pay by the minute computer in the office. I swiped my credit card twice and it was denied twice. I knew for a fact there was money on my credit card. The woman at the desk asked if I was having problems. I explained to her my situation and wanted to check in on my flight. Although I was a little early, I canceled the check-in and went to my bank to inquire. She could not find any problems with my account. She contacted the main office and while checking the computer transaction, I was informed that the company that the computer uses is from Denmark and my bank does not deal with any banks in and overseas institutions. The next day I went to the check out desk to have them check in on my flight and everything went thru without a hitch. I was able to get the upgrade and paid for our valet service. Later that day, a security firm representing my bank called me regarding the illegal transaction. They cleared the entire situation and all was well.

“Will definitely go back”

Hotel was great! Not in downtown Waikiki about a 3 min car ride into town, definitely in walking distance or a short trolley ride away! When you walk past the pool, you walk down a short ramp and onto Waikiki beach. Hotel is located right next door to Hilton Hawaiin Village and their lagoon, which you can use! Fireworks on the beach on Tuesday and Friday when I was there. Large room, kitchenette; good housekeeping; great staff and concierge. Great deal for the price. If you are thinking about getting a city view room, spend the money and see the water! We got ciyview and that was the only regret we had!

The hotel was in a great location and the service was unbelievable! The rooms were also amazing, much nicer than we had hoped for. It was great to have the full kitchen in our room and We will definitely be going back to Oahu and staying at this hotel! Have a great time :-)

“Save some money with your own kitchen!!”

I really enjoyed the room and valet services. They were very quick with our vehicle and the rate was reasonable. Staying at this place allowed us to save money for other activities. You can also walk to the alomoana mall!!! YEAH!!!! Big plus for the ladies. The room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. For the price you can't go wrong. Will stay here again. Downside, this is the city so if you want slow go to North Shore.

Mahalo for the absolutely wonderful room we had! Having grown upin hawai`i, the Ilikai was a known and trusted name to me. I was not aware that the hotel was under a remodeling construction. that is okay..we were able to work around that. The other thing, I did not realize that the check -in was in a different place (2nd floor instead of front desk). The Waikiki Marina staff were fabulous!!We had a personal telephone call from them every day...that was such a special touch and made a difference to 'us locals" who now reside "on the continent". the room was fantastic...loved the size, the comfort...the amenities...I definitely would recommend this to others and would stay there again. I, however would let them know about some of the inconveniences (construction, slow elevator, parking garage loacated across the street ) The room made up for all of that! “I was very impressed”

This hotel was clean, comfortable and a very convenient location. I can't wait to go back. The maid cleaned the room daily and very quickly. Anyone at the hotel was very pleasant. The quality of this hotel is excellant.

“A wonderful stay”

My daughters and I stayed in this hotel for a week, and absolutely loved the quality of the hotel and the room. Very roomy, the full kitched was a bonus and the beds were comfortable, firm and clean good quality linen. The room was serviced every day. Very good value.

I have every intention of returning to Hawaii within the next year or so and will make plans to stay at this hotel again.
