“Will use again”
Will use this hotel again if ever in Hawaii. It is convenient and within walking distance to other business. My children really enjoyed themselves.
“very friendly staff great hotel”
This Hotel was very nice all the staff was very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was decent. The room could have used a little more light. The pool was good but small.
“An exceptional value”
This place is excellent. Everything here is excellent. I am returning this week. This is the best place I have ever stayed at.
“Great hotel”
Great front desk staff. Nice rooms, wonderful value. Overall, good example of the aloha spirit.
“worth the money”
i was very pleased with the hotel staff and the location is great! i traveled alone and felt this was a peaceful and safe hotel.
“Will go back again and again.”
First off, anyone that complains about this hotel has got to be extremely picky. The staff was very friendly and helpfull everyday we were there.the first night there, my wife lost a piece of luggage, and the front desk dropped everything and helped look until it was found. The room was very nice and very clean. It was cleaned everyday nicely. We had two balconies with very beautiful views of the city and ocean. The breakfast was nice, and its free, so quit complaining. And the longest wait we had for a elevator was about 1-2 minutes. And that includes the lobby. So i dont know where people get that from. Overall, this place was way better than i even hoped for. I will recommend this place to anyone that says they are going to hawaii. My thanks again to this hotel, the staff, and the management for making my honeymoon the best vacation i and my wife have ever had.
“Nice hotel”
The location is great, there are bus stops surrounding the hotel. It takes only 10 minutes walk to the beach. The facility is overall satisfactory, but I wish there are more power receptacles in the room. Also, I booked a terrace ocean view room. But the terrace is facing the city, not the ocean.
“Good location, budget stay”
The lobby and Penthouse suites have been recently renovated and are beautiful. The other guest rooms that I saw were clean but dated. What you might expect with the price of the rooms. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The location is great, right in the center of shopping and dining, blocks off the beach, steps from a park.
“Great trip, Can't wait to return”
Our trip was everything we were hoping it would be. The room was comfortable and the staff was very helpful. It was a greta location, only a short walk to the beach or to the city to sightsee and get something to eat. We didn't even have to rent a car for the entire week we were there. We will stay here again when we get to come back for another visit.
“Best Value in Waikiki!”
Waikiki Gateway Hotel is without a doubt the best value in Waikiki! Good service from start to finish! It definitely felt more than a two and a half star hotel. I highly recommend it to travellers wanting to enjoy Waikiki! It has everything you need for leisure or business travel as they have amenities for the guest's convenience.
