“Great stay at Waikiki Marriott”

My husband, 2 daughters and I stayed at the Marriott on a 3 night stopover from an international trip. We had an oceanfront room. It was much nicer than I expected. The room was large with 2 very comfortable queen beds, plus a small couch hideabed. It was a corner unit with two great view decks. I'm not crazy about Waikiki but this location worked out great since our stay was just meant to help ease our jet lag. We found Kuhio Beach (across from the zoo) to be quieter since it's a bit further away from the street and it was less crowded. The pool was small but had a nice, relaxed atmosphere and wasn't usually that busy. We only tried the food at the Terrace restaurant. It was good but like most of the food on Waikiki, it was expensive. After getting some sleep, we mostly ate at small local restaurants away from the Waikiki area. If you're willing to explore and try other foods, it's much better for the price.

“Great Location”

Although it is at the end of the Main strip..they have movies down there on the beach on the weekends during the summer. The 3rd floor bar over looking the ocean is great with great music. The restaurants were really good especially the Sushi restaurant. I've stayed there 3-times and will continue to go back twice a yr.

“Marriott Waikiki”

Overall this is a great hotel. While I was there there was what appeared to be major elevator maintenance in progress, so wait times were sometimes extensive. Otherwise a very, very nice place.

“Great Urban-Tropical Experience”

We had a fabulous time. Our room was beautiful, our whole family had a great time. The valets were so thoughtful and contiencious. All of the staff was wonderful. And the hospitality sweet made our last day a great one since we were able to clean up prior to flying home. If you like the night life or being close to everything this is the place. As always, Marriott service is great.

“Nice place”

The hotel and the service was excellent. The only downside is the elevators are extremely slow. No lie, the wait can be over 15min. Try to get a room on the lower floors so the stairs are an option. I was on the 14th floor and still used the stairs a couple of times! The rest of the hotel and the service was excellent. It's nice to get a smile and hello in the hallway. You don't get that in a lot of places. I would definately go again.

“Amazing staff, clean and beautiful hotel, safe area, beach across the street!”

Our hotel stay was so wonderful. The staff was helpful and kind. The rooms are super clean and comfortable and they all have a great view. The pools are great as is the full service you will receive there. The lobby is beautiful and has a great waterfall with koi fish and flowers. There are classes offered to dance, make baskets and other fun cultural things native to Hawai'i. There is a mall on the first floor. Everyone is really nice and patient. Prices are fair. Sio (our favorite concierge) was efficient and knowledgeable. He helped us set up tours, activities and answered every question we could ever think of asking with a smile. We enjoyed the buffets (clean and organized) and the live musicians that sang by the pool and bar nightly. On the corner street of the hotel is the stop for all the shopping shuttles, tour buses & the local bus system (that even took us to the stadium and North Shore). No need to rent a car or scooter if you don't want to. All you need to pack is a swimsuit and a sarong to fit in everywhere. The breathtaking beach is directly across the street. The beaches offer variety from calm as a pool to waves you can surf on. Everything from the zoo to aquarium are within walking distance. The staff are very professional and extremely helpful while showing the spirit of Hawaii that is Aloha. Family friendly, business friendly & single friendly. We saw it all and didn't feel they disconnected at all. We will definitely go back.

The Marriott was a very nice place to stay. Very clean!! Great service around the hotel. Convenient stores and dining located at the hotel. Wonderful place to stay!

“JUST AWESOME!!”

We were very pleased at the professionalism and the condition of our room. It was very refreshing. I do wish they would have a continental breakfast offered, as money was tight and everything in Hawaii cost a lot more than we had anticipated. Even fresh fruit or a juice bar with maybe a toaster and bagels would have been nice.

Overall experience here was nothing but positive. It was a spacious room with a pleasing view and the staff was very very nice. I would definately recommend this hotel and can't will definately stay there again!
