Property Amenities
The Royal Hawaiian, A Luxury Collection Resort is set among beachfront gardens, making it feel far away from the activity of Waikiki. The resort shares Helumoa Playground with the adjacent Sheraton Waikiki, which features an outdoor pool with waterfalls and waterslides. The resort has its own beachfront pool and spa tub. Guests have access to six luxury cabanas with Internet access, and light refreshments.
The Royal Coconut Grove, once a playground for monarchy, now offers a wide array of cultural programs to provide guests with an authentic Hawaiian experience. On Monday evenings, the hotel hosts the Aha ‘Aina Luau with a Polynesian show and dinner. The Abhasa Spa offers a variety of treatments in a tropical garden setting.
Guided and self-guided historical and garden tours are available. The resort hotel has a business center and offers high-speed Internet access (included in resort fee).

The Royal Hawaiian's 528 guestrooms are located in the six-story Historic Building and the 17-story Tower Ocean-front. Rooms feature luxury bedding, iPod-compatible clock radios, and LCD TVs with premium channels. Other amenities include high-speed Internet access (surcharge included in Resort Fee), compact refrigerators, and in-room safes.
Tower Ocean rooms also have coffee/tea makers, ocean-view lanais, and contemporary decor, and include access to a guest lounge. Rooms in the Historic Building have modern furnishings and marble bathrooms. All guestrooms offer bathrobes.

Dining
Azure - The oceanfront restaurant serves fresh seafood roasted in herbs or prepared with tropical seasonings, along with a selection of wines and a raw bar with shellfish.
Surf Lanai - The upscale beachside café is by the pool and serves classic American cuisine with tropical accents. À la carte breakfast and lunch available.
Mai Tai Bar - The outdoor beachside bar serves cocktails and appetizers, and features ocean views, tropical music, and live entertainment.
Recreation
In addition to two outdoor pools and a spa tub, the resort has a private area on Waikiki Beach with direct access from property. Beach cabanas are at guests' disposal for a fee, as well as sun loungers, towels and umbrellas.
A half-mile away, Kapiolani Park is home to tennis courts, sports fields, an archery range, and the Honolulu Zoo. Ala Wai Golf Course, a mile from the resort, has an 18-hole course, driving range, and pro shop. An additional treat for Golf fans is the Resort’s affiliation with Waialae Country Club, allowing guests exclusive access and rates to this otherwise private, premier golf course.

“Seemann's were impressed”
This hotel is an amazing hideaway right in the middle of Waikiki. It was extremenly classy and comfortable. Although in the middle of high rise hotels with their crowds, you can enter the grounds of the Royal Hawaiian and find absolute peace. The rooms are amazing, the employees are warm and welcoming, and there is always a spot at the Mai-Tai bar on the beach. This is the only hotel to go to in Waikiki. It stands up to its long history with charm and class.

“Great Location”
This was my second trip to Waikiki, but my first stay at the Royal Hawiian Hotel, and what a gem this place is. Amazing beach front location, for the pool, restaurant and Mai Tai bar with views of Diamond Head and the curving Waikiki beach. Plus this hotel has the architectural charm seen in the lobby, which has a view of the beach, gardens and amazing hallways. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, they evem comped the breakfast room service on the day of check out, because it was going to arrive 30 minutes later than promised when I placed the order. The 5 night I stayed there with my girlfriend were amazing and we wanted to stay longer but couldn't due to work commitments back home, but we will DEFINITELY return.

Everyone on staff was amazing--so helpful and cheerful and honest. The pool and beach were beautiful, well maintained and serviced. The room was so beautiful with a big comfy bed, nice heating/cool, and a great shower. I also loved how every detail was pink--the napkins, uniforms, match books (my husband didn't really care but I thought it was so adorable). We had an amazing honeymoon and I think a lot of it had to do with where we stayed and how we were treated. This hotel is close to everything! And if you want to travel off the beaten path, they've got people who can help you get there. I know I'm gushing, but it was simply wonderful--romantic and modern. Loved it!

This is one if not the best hotel in the island. It is beautiful. I will be back again, soon.
“When can I book for next year?”
The hotel is within an easy taxi ride to a great shopping center, easy walk to other hotels and shopping. The beach front is easily accessible from the pool. The hotel is small enough to give a feeling of intimacy. Security was never an issue. There was a mini-frig in the room and a locked safe. I will rebook for next year.

Had a wonderful experience from the moment we arrived.Staff was very friendly. Room was beautiful decorated, and very confortable. Everything is within walking distance. We would defenetly return to this palace.
