“Park Shore Great Stay and Great Value”
We were surprised to find ourselves booking a flight and hotel in Honolulu. Through Expedia we got a much better price for both flight and hotel than we imagined. The folks at Park Shore were gracious, friendly, and embodied a spirit of hospitality. They offered an upgrade for a better view, which was an incredible deal for a mesmerizing view. We would have been happy to just sit on the deck all day and watch the ocean, the people, and the majestic sunsets. When we explored getting a room upgrade, the management was very accommodating in showing us what was available. Park Shore was an excellent location, across the street from the beach, the zoo, and walking distance to many attractions near the beach front. The bus service is excellent and bus stops are within a block of the Park Shore Hotel. When we return to Hawaii, we will definitely make arrangements with Expedia and stay at the Park Shore Hotel again.
“Great location and view.”
We were very comfortable with this hotel. We had a corner room with views of the park and Waikiki Beach. It is very convenient walking across the street to the beach as well as to the shops and restaurants. We received excellent service, our room was very comfortable and the view was fantastic. The service and food at Lulu's were great. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would go back again.
“Enjoyable Time”
We had a wonderful view from our room. We enjoyed sitting out on the lani and watching the ocean and hearing the surf come in. We also enjoyed their dinning room also. We would stay there again if we go back.
“Great Location at a Great Value with Great Service”
The Park Shore is located steps, not blocks, but steps from Waikiki Beach and the beautiful blue Pacific Ocean. The room was very clean on arrival, and was very well kept the entire 10 nights stay. Every single staff member was professional, and extremely courtious and very pleasant. Ice machines were always full. The hotel is next to the Honolulu Zoo, and very close to the Aquarium. It's close to many restaurants, and one mile to a Safeway grocery store. We went there and puchased some food items and ate at least breakfast in the room every day, and lunch most days. There is a refrigerator in the room that was clean, cold, and odor-free. We are planning on going back to Oahu next year, and yes, I would make the Park Shore my choice and book there again.
“Best Beach Access - Great Location - a Bargain”
If you are looking for convenient, comfortable accommodations,a step out the door to the beach in Waikiki, to the many activities in Kapiolani Park, and easy access to local bus service, then the Park Shore is the answer. Every sort of shop or restaurant type is within easy walking distance. Tosummarize, the Park Shore offers great views, clean and comfortable rooms, a pleasant staff, all in the very heart of the excitement in Waikiki.
“Best people and best place”
During my stay at Christmas season, there was electricity shutdown in Honolulu. The hotel, waikiki, and city was whole darkness. The staffs in the hotel was very organized in responding the emergency situation. The responses included elevator arrangement, providing service, etc, with high kindness and composure. In the morning, I had to go airport to leave and asked the baggage moving service from 17th floor to ground floor because we have a lot of baggagges. Because of the electricity shutdown, the hotel was operating only one elevator. We succeeded in moving one time to ground floor but the elevator was stopped in second time. The serviceman in the hotel did not hesitate to use stairs for the delivery. For 17 floors. I was really moved to the gentleman and the service. I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the serviceman and the Hotel.
“My Fifth Stay at the Park Shore”
I've stayed at the Park Shore on most of my trips to Honolulu. The location is ideal for my purposes...facing the water directly, seconds away from the beach. And it's at the very end of the crazy part of Waikiki, with the park across the street rather than more hotels and a great view of Diamond Head. So it feels a bit more peaceful than if you were, say, near the International Market. The rooms are not super-special, but they're perfectly serviceable. It's the balconies, facing directly over the water, that make it. Ocean Front rooms look directly out at the sunset, ocean view rooms look toward Diamond Head, and I've enjoyed both. Haven't tried the City View. It can be a little loud on Friday and Saturday night, if an event with music is happening at Lulu's. I spend most of my time in Hawaii out of doors, but am always pleased to get back to the Park Shore.
“Great view”
We arrived from the airport to see the zoo, Diamondhead, and Waikiki Beach close. The man at the desk said we'd been upgraded to an ocean view room. When we asked about paying for WiFi in our room, he recommended the free access on the 1st and second floor. The location is great. It's across the street from the beach. We walked west along the beach and found a place set up with local shops and food on the north side of Waikiki. Great food, low prices. We didn't use the pool, but did check the temperatures. It's nice and warm. Watching sunrise over the Pacific from the balcony of our room was a real treat!
“It was a Nice hotel”
Hotel was nice espically for the price. Rooms look exactly like the pictures advertised on the website. I paid for a city view room and recieved a ocean view room. The way the hotel is built every room is a partial ocean view to ocean front. It was clean. staff was very friendly and informative. If I ever return to Waikiki I will stay here again
“Excellent value and great location”
This hotel has great location. You can walk down to the Waikiki beach in less than a minute. This was my first visit and the convenience of this hotel was a big plus. The "creature comforts" of this hotel are rather limited as this is a rather basic but very clean hotel. It is great value for money and I would certainly go there for future visits. The only negative thing about this hotel is the Karoake bar on the second floor: they have horrible audio and bad food. I would give this hotel five stars if this bar was not there.
