Property Amenities
Just outside the beachfront Outrigger Waikiki Shore, guests can sign up for surfing lessons, outrigger canoe rides, and catamaran cruises (surcharges). Hotel guests are also eligible for a complimentary introductory scuba lesson at the pool of the adjoining partner hotel, the Outrigger Reef on the Beach. Also available at the Reef are a spa tub, concierge, and a business center with computers, printer, and fax machine (surcharges).

At the beach, guests can swim and body-surf in the small shore break; for surcharges, they can also enjoy surfing lessons, outrigger canoe rides, and catamaran cruises.
At the adjoining partner hotel, the Outrigger Reef on the Beach, guests have access to a spa tub and to the large pool, including complimentary introductory scuba lessons every day but Sunday. A day spa offers massages, facials, and manicures (surcharges). The public Ala Wai Golf Course is a 10-minute drive away.

“Staying in Waikiki - no better view !”
The view is just something you won't find anywhere else - particularly from the higher floors. Having a washing machine / dryer in the room with a small kitchen was a godsend, having just travelled across the mainland and needing to get some clean clothes organised. Coming home with a 'clean' suitcase was great too. As they always say ... location, location, location ... and my wife just loved the view!! The two single beds pushed together to make a King size bed was a bit 'ordinary' with mine being quite 'saggy' and in need of replacement ... but did I mention the view?? “Very Good”
After a little confusion as to where we were I loved the hotel(really a block of units attached to the hotel next door, I think). We were greeted by a man at a desk who told us we needed to ring the Outrigger Waikiki Shore from a phone in the lobby and they come and get you and take you to your room. Everyone was extremely helpful so I soon got over my confusion. The room was fine and had a beautiful view of the beach right below. You walk out the back and you are on the beach which has lovely park areas and a concrete walkway all along. We were near all the good shopping and restaurants but the room was very quiet. That was impressive. You could sleep really well.
“safe secure and great view”
beautiful sunsets from the lanai- very convenient to everything- nice having a kitchen and laundry right in the room - service was great. -could use all the facilities of the Reef next door. Construction going on but wasn't a problem. Would definitely stay there again
“Hope to obtain the same roon again!”
The room my husband and I had at the Outrigger Waikiki Shores was fabulous. I normally prefer rooms on the first or second floors, but the view from the eleventh floor was wonderful. Diamond Head out the entrance door and a view of the coast out the lanai (toward the airport) was great. The sunset was gorgeous. I would accept that room again and again. I lived in Hawaii for two years before I was married, so I love returning. This hotel room was perfect, with a full kitchen and laundry facilities in a large bathroom.

“Great hotel!”
The Outrigger Waikiki Shore was a great hotel to stay at. This was our fourth time in Hawaii and this hotel was by far the best that we've stayed at. The hotel is really a condo so you have the comfort and space that comes with that. The unit came with a full size refrigerator, a stove, a microwave, dishwasher, and even a washer/dryer. This was a great convenience to have. The view from the lanai was spectacular! You had a great view of the ocean on one side and a beautiful view of Fort De Russey park on the other with a city view as a back drop. Security was top priority at the Waikiki Shore. You could not enter the gated front or back entrance without your key. You could not use the elevator without swiping your key. The security office on the main floor was constantly monitoring the hotel, which made us feel very safe. Our room was very clean and the hotel as a whole was very quiet. The hotel is located at a very convenient location. Shops and restaurants are very close by; about a 5 minute walking time. The most spectacular thing about this hotel, however, is that it is located right on the beach. This part of Waikiki Beach is the quieter side. So if you don't like crowds but you love the beach and ocean, the Outrigger Waikiki Shore is the place for you. Thanks to the staff and cleaning crew for making our stay so welcoming and comfortable. We hope to be back soon!
“Roomy and Excellent Location”
Very impressed with decor, roominess, security, beachfront location and magnifient, unobstructive oceanview. Only two elevators so a little waiting but otherwise would definately rebook here again.
“Wish I could have stayed longer.....”
We loved our room. We were on the 12th floor, had a beautiful view and left the door open to hear the ocean all night. We were able to see the lights of the city and the ships, sailboats, and surfers all from the lanai(? sp). It was beautiful, just beautiful. How nice to have full size refrigerator, stove, mircrowave and other kitchen supplies in the room. I can see how people stay here for months at a time. The security of the place was great also. Never had to worry about anyone getting in that shouldn't. Safe was free to use, which was awesome. Nice bathrooms, with full link double mirrors, washer, dryer. I don't know what else to say. It was great. I would go back in a minute.
“Great location, good for independent travellers”
Clean, quiet, well-equipped apartments in an excellent location on Fort Derussy beach, a 2 minute walk away from the shops and nightlife of Waikiki. Does not have its own pool, but have access to facilites at the sister hotel next door - although with the Pacific Ocean on your doorstep, who needs one? Well equipped for self-catering, and there are numeours convenience stores nearby. Beautiful oceanfront views with a balcony. Only slight drawback was the very noisy air conditioning unit! Overall, would wholly recommend for those who want great location with the independence of self-catering.
“Waitkiki's best beachside condo”
The initial room had a problem with the airconditioning, so in no time at all the helpful staff moved us to a new room, which in our opinion was excellent. The views, location and facilities of the room and complex were great and we will recommend The Outrigger Waikiki Shore to our friends
