Property Amenities
Located two blocks from the ocean activities at Waikiki Beach, OHANA Waikiki West offers an outdoor splash pool with poolside bar serving tropical drinks and light fare.
Chili's Grill & Bar and a Starbuck's coffee shop are located on the hotel's ground level. A country-western bar features DJ music and complimentary dance lessons.
Other facilities include a gift and sundries shop, a pharmacy, and a coin-operated laundry.
Guests receive complimentary rides on Waikiki Trolley's Pink Line throughout Waikiki and to the Ala Moana Shopping Center. Guests who check in early can request digital pagers. Wireless Internet access is complimentary in the lobby.

Located in an L-shaped, 18-story tower, all 661 guestrooms at OHANA Waikiki West offer compact refrigerators, coffeemakers, in-room safes, complimentary high-speed wired Internet access, and video games (surcharge).
Beds feature pillowtop mattresses, 250-thread-count linens, Euro shams and linens, and matching sheets and duvet cover.
Kitchenette rooms also have microwaves, two-burner stoves, cookware, and dinnerware. Bathrooms have showers only. Many rooms have lanais.

Chili's Grill & Bar - Independently owned and operated, this casual Southwestern chain restaurant is open from mid-morning until late evening.
Starbucks - Offering specialty coffees, pastries, and sandwiches from early morning until late evening.
Cabanas - This poolside bar serves tropical drinks and light fare from late morning until afternoon.
Nashville Waikiki - A country-western bar with DJ music, complimentary dance lessons, pool tables, and dartboards. Open from afternoon until late night.
Recreation
One level above Kuhio Avenue, a sundeck houses a medium-sized splash pool and adjacent bar. Guests receive discounted access to the fitness facilities at a partner hotel across the street.
Two blocks away, Waikiki Beach offers rentals for water activities such as snorkeling, boogie boarding, catamaran sailing, and canoeing. A surfing school is also nearby.
A half-mile from the hotel, Kapiolani Park is home to tennis courts, sports fields, an archery range, and the Honolulu Zoo.
Ala Wai Golf Course, also a half-mile away, has an 18-hole course, driving range, and pro shop.

“Very good for price”
Good for the price rate. Great staff willing to go the extra mile for you. Elevators lacking in number on days the hotel is full.
“Cool Find in Waikiki”
This hotel is perfectly situated, walking distance to shopping, restaurants and the beach. I don't know why you would pay 4x more to stay on the beach when it is the same older property with a small pool and a limited beach. This is a better way to go. Very clean but dated but in a cool 70's 80's Magnum PI way. Actually, the way I kind of envisioned Hawaii in my head. Go to the open air shopping center and enjoy Hawaiian music and dance (free). The Hawaiian Market across the street is great for gifts - not overpriced and without overzealous salespeople. Excellent shopping high and low end. Stop and have drinks at Duke's on the beach. We will definitely return - a great find.

A very good price for a very nice hotel in an excellent location. Near all the shops, across from the International Market Place, 2 blocks from the beach. I would definitely go back to this hotel.
“Ideal for large families”
This hotel had everything that a large family requires for a comfortable stay. We stayed 10 days and the daily maid service was great. Also, this hotel is literally a 10 minute walk to the beach. The help desk also booked two trips to island attractions that we had a great time at.

Very nice Hotel. Kinda wish that we had a King size bed though instead of two doubles.
