only real problem we had with this hotel was the cost to use their internet is very pricey...also they have only ethernet cable set up in the rooms for a fee...no one uses them the wi-fi can only be used in the lobby and it was way to over crowded w/ people trying to use at one time...it was the only place one could go to get on line and it was super slow not even worth the wait time...they need to get organized on their wifi in the rooms...theyir t.v. is outdated as well and need to be replaced with new ones

“good if you want to save money and don't care about Hygiene”

when planning our vacation, we were trying to save as much money as possible, so we booked in this hotel. No real complaints for the hotel itself. The staff was friendly and eager to help. On last day of our stay, it was obvious that the cleaners did not pay much attention to detail. We were doing a final search through our room to make sure we didn't leave anything behind, and when I looked under the bed, I found a used condom! pretty disgusting, considereing I never brought any, or used any condoms on the trip....pretty disgusting. Other than that, the hotel was fine for the price.

The reason why I choose it was because of its low price. However, I think I really make a mistake. Will never try it again.

“A marginal hotel but not bad when considering the price paid.”

Minimumly acceptable. Room to small, long wait for the elevator if on a high floor, high fee for room internet service, very small old TV which was not too clear. However, the location was very good and the price reasonable. Overall, a fair tradeoff of comfort for price.

“Maile $ky Court”

Well the hotel was fine for those individuals who have a tight budget, however when I made a request for two queen sized beds in my room; the message telling me that my request couldn't be accommodated was sent to me so late and so close to the checkin date; that I had no choice to but keep my original reservation. Had I been given more days to organize and set up a different room/hotel situation; then I would proabably would have changed hotels. Had I changed hotels, there would be charges for cancelling too late and this just seemed to be a calculated move on the hotels part. Would I recommend to others? Sure, but don't be surprised if you make a request and the hotel will not beable to accomodate your request, nor be you notified in a timely manner so you can do something about it. Parking is 18 bucks a day.

“Not the best, but not the worst”

The room looked as if it had the same decor since the 70's, everything was orange and green. Everything just seemed so worn out and the room was very small. The bed was very hard too. But if you are on a budget and only need somewhere to sleep for a few hours this will do.

“Solid 2-Star Hotel - You Get What You Pay For”

Everything you can expect from a 2-star hotel can be found at Maile Sky. Maile Sky could bump themselves up to a 2.5 Star Hotel and maybe even a 3 star if they improve their staff customer service. Hotel service is reflective of a 2 star but staff can easily improve rating by doing simple things like making eye contact, to smile and greet guests as they pass by, to actually TRY to meet a guest's special requests, I'm surprised that of the 7 rating questions, ONLY one was about the quality of hotel service. It's so much easier and cheaper to improve the guest experience by improving hotel service that it is to change renovate the old bathrooms and upgrade the bedding.

“Average Stay at Maile”

Maile Sky Court is an average hotel with no frills. It's a little far from the beach and a little out of where the action is in Waikiki. Lifts are slow and the bed wasn't great with no extra pillows. We stayed 3 nights and when we inquired about staying a fourth night they were going to charge us an exorbitant amount. So we left as slightly unhappy customers that will not be choosing Maile for our next stay in Hawaii.

“Not what I expected”

The rooms were very small with 15" color TV. Single beds that were actually quite comfortable, but small and not what I am used to. Elevators were very slow so don't plan on getting within the Hotel in a hurry. My two boys were stranded in the elevator one evening and had to call security to get them out. Hopefully that is worked out now. All in all had a good time and memories to last a lifetime. SZ
