On the third floor of the Hyatt Place Waikiki Beach, balanced between its 2 towers, is a spacious sundeck for sunbathing.
One block from the hotel lies a stretch of Waikiki Beach with a breakwater—Kuhio Beach—which creates calm, pool-like swimming conditions. Waikiki Beach offers snorkeling and all other sand and surf activities. The hotel is also one block from Kapiolani Park, with its tennis courts, jogging paths, the Honolulu Zoo, and the Waikiki Aquarium. A 24-hour fitness center is three blocks away, and a public golf course less than a half-mile.

“Great x 2”
Great location, great breakfast buffet - worth the extra money
“A hidden GEM”
From the time I first drove up til the time I drove off to go to the airport, the Hyatt Place Waikiki was excerllent. Great staff !!! Always friendly and helpful. I was given a tour of the coveniences offered by the front desk rep upon checkin. The room was VERY clean. Nice "peek a boo" view of the ocean. Very comfortable bed. HUGE shower. Convenient mini-frig. 42in TV. Room was not huge,but I do not come to Hawaii to spend time in my room. So plenty space for 1 or 2 people. Great breakfast buffet every morning. No room service but, you can can get made-to-order soups, sandwiches, desserts, etc at the bar 24 hours a day. There is also a grab and go counter with fresh made sandwiches, salads, pastries,etc. Free in room wifi and free use of 4 computer stations in the lobby ( with an available printer-also free). The hotel is only 1 block from the beach-- on the quieter end of Waikiki and only a 5-10 minute walk to Royal Hawaiian Shopping and the Beach Walk. A big MAHALO to the Hyatt Place Waikiki.
“Excellent hotel clean and comfy”
This newly renovated hotel ( one of the towers is still undergoing renovations) was very well appointed with new furnishings in the rooms. The room was large and the accomodations were very comfortable. The pool is very small but we spent all our time at the beach which was very close by, as was shopping and restaurants. The breakfast every morning was included and featured both hot and cold items and was well presented. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definetly recommend this hotel to our friends! Aloha!

“Loved it!”
We enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt Place very much. Service was great, room was big and comfortable, it was close to the beach, and the breakfast was great! We came with our two boys and we really liked having the pull out sleeper bed as they do not do well sharing a bed. Loved having wi-fi in the room and the computers downstairs too as the kids enjoyed keeping in touch with their friends. Being able to print things was wonderful too. It was really a fantastic place for us the 9 days we were there. Would come back for sure! Thanks to everyone there for a lovely stay.
“Great hotel”
My family stayed there the week of 5/9-5/15. The hotel is getting some construction done. We got a remodeled room on the second floor and it was great. Big enough for two adults and a child. The continental breakfast was excellent!!!! The staff was great. One night we needed extra towels and by the time we got into our room and sat down there was a knock and there was our towels. Great customer service. The hotel is a block from the beach which was perfect. Overall I would recommend this hotel.
“Place worth all your money”
Recommended for following reason: - Nice location (very near to Waikiki beach) - Clean and spacious rooms - Staff very friendly and helpful - Amazing breakfast (included in your stay) - Not expensive at all Only drawback is..you don't have beach view from your room, but it was the least important thing while deciding the hotel.
“A Fabulous Stay!”
A pleasant stay indeed. The complete renovation of the entire building was done by December 2011, as a result, the guest room was extremely comfortable and very spacious! My only complaint was the pillows were too soft. In addition to the gym and pool, I appreciated the laundry facility as well. In short, a highly recommended hotel at very reasonable price levels.
