“Awesome location, lots of activities.”

We really enjoyed our stay at the Grand Vacations Suites at HHV. You cannot beat the resort's location. The beach is beautiful and not so crowded. Was skeptical about choosing this hotel after reading a lot of reviews but I am glad we booked with Hilton and we will probably stay there again if we go to Honolulu again.

“Enjoyable stay”

Enjoyed our stay at the Lagoon Tower. The whole resort is run very efficiently and though it is quite pricey to stay here they give you lots of extras. The pools were fabulous and we used them heaps. Good being able to leave luggage there on our departure day and then we were able to use resort facilities for the day and were able to use a hospitality room to freshen up before we left.

“Not bad”

Not quite as good as when I have stayed in a standard hotel room at the village. A few things did not work but most were fixed when we called.

“would go back”

It is very nice hotel. We had a problem with the air conditioner. But it was fixed.I was not impressed by all the charges for use of chairs for the beach and pool area. Most hotels that I have stayed at do not charge their guest to use beach chairs. Food is very expensive on the resort. I recommend that you eat off the resort. It will be by far cheaper and will be a lot better quality. The service was excellent. Excellent place for children.

“To loud, wroken up before 6 am”

It was just very noisy before 6 am. The front desk said they had many conplaints about all the noise so early. It was a very nice place and for the price the noise was unexceptable.

“Great room but Mall Enviroment, Mall Food.”

From the airport at 1Pm, asked both the Valet and Guest services and we were directed to a huge line. Guest Services confirmed that My American Express Hilton Honors card does not qualify us for the VIP line... After half an hour in line we were finally informed by the receptions that we are in the wrong line and we should go to different building. Bell-boy service was promised. After another 15 minutes of waiting in the Lobby, kids start crying, couldn't wait anymore and dragged ourselves through the Village. Surprise: our apartment would be ready in 2hours (around 4PM...) Apartment itself was great, the only plus in the whole trip. Hotel itself, not so great, super-crowded everywhere with fellow vacationers swarming the pool, semi-rocky beach; lines on all 3 eateries on the property; dark parking garage with few available spaces. When you finally get to order in one of the restaurants: Bolognese Pasta, cheese burger, fish and chips, nachos....hardly Hawaiian (when I asked our waitress about a Hawaiian fish on the menu: not for lunch!) Checking out was disappointing as well: we were "mistakenly" charged for 5 Valet parking (instead of one) and the best of them all: as we came back at 10.15 AM to pick our luggage and head to the airport, we got stuck in the elevator for a few trips up and down ( with 2 infants). Well: check out time is 10AM and Hilton considers blocking your access room card (that works also as an elevator card ) as a fine way of saying: Your Time is UP!

“Beyond Expectations”

I am really hard to please and I booked this hotel with a lot of trepidation because I know Oahu and was familiar with Hilton Hawaiin Village. it is self contained and can be very crowded. I booked a two bedroom condo in the Lagoon tower because I was taking my daughter and son-in-law and my three grandsons--6,5,2. It was beyond all of my expectations. Absolutely perfect for the six of us. All kinds of activities (pricey) but the lagoon and paradise pool were hits with the little ones. Benihana's is on site and a great place for families--the chef gives the kids a show. We walked down to Fort DeRussey to rent beach chairs and aquatic equipment because it's a state park and really cheap. The beach is nicer too. We rented a car for two nights so we could see the North Shore and Haunuma Bay. Perfect amount of driving around. We were there 7 days and it was the nicest vacation I've done. I overworried because of the kids, but this was a perfect place for them.

“WORST HOTEL IN WAIKIKI!!!!”

Hotel Policy: Check in was 4:00 p.m. and check out was 10:00 a.m. What the hell is that!!!! Kind a riff-off, will never go back there! For the price we paid, it wasn't worth. There's better hotel in Waikiki than this stupid HILTON GRAND VACATION SUITES AT HILTON VILLAGE.
