“This was fabulous”
What a GREAT place. Completely exceeded my expectations in terms of size of my room, and view. My room was huge, kitchen had all the utensils + pots/pans, full size fridge, 2 big screen TVs, free dvd rentals, sony playstation etc. They even provided us with free laundry detergent. Amenenties could not be beat. Every store you could ever hope for and/or need, within walking distance. 4.5 stars at least. (I docked half a star only because I didn't think the pools were as big as the other resort pools on the other islands. Also, keeping "towel cards" were also a pain.)
“Beautiful Resort”
Felt like waking up in paradise every morning! We stayed in the Lagoon Tower and loved it! Very spacious accomodation for our family, overlooking the lagoon and ocean. Every staff member we spoke to was more than helpful. Our kids enjoyed the leis that are available every day in the lobby, free hula lessons and snorkelling in the lagoon. Don't miss the hotel's free show and fireworks on the beach every Friday night!
“Great family Hotel”
We really enjoyed our week stay - the biggest let down for us was that the last 2 days of our stay the staff went on strike. As a result our room was not serviced properly for those 2 days. The staff on strike were also loudly protesting at every entry - I felt sorry for guests who were staying in a room facing the roads - we were lucky enough to face the lagoon. Chanting at 6am in the morning is not a nice way to spend your holiday. We made sure we were out of the hotel for those two days busy doing activities - the hotel certainly would have lost a lot of revenue as the bars / restaurants were closed. We had planned to spend our last night seeing out the sunset at the Tropics Bar but it was closed on the Friday because of the strike. We had enjoyed a great evening there earlier in the week. Apart from that, the kids really enjoyed the Friday night fire works. We were in the Lagoon Tower and found the 1 Bedroom unit very comfortable. The pools were also great - the lagoon pool with the slides was a hit with the kids.
“Our suites were awesome and the staff was even better.”
The room was more than expected (the picture on website did not do it justice) and the staff (check-in, cleaning staff, bell-hops) went above and beyond what was required of them. Most helpful. Appreciated the security shown by the staff, the secure vault that held our luggage after check-out, we had 5 hours until we headed to the airport, which was provided without an additional charge, and the overall pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommend the Hawaiian Villiage HIlton. You will not be disappointed.
“WOW!!”
It couldn't of been better!! What you see in the pictures is what you get. I asked for an Ocean view, and it was spectactular. We stool in the Kalia Tower, and were able to see whales in the distance from our room. Everything you could possibly need is conveniently on the property, shops, dining, pools and the beach. Be prepared to pay for parking, we payed $24 per night to self park, valet was more.
“Unbelievable experience, too short a time.”
No complaints at all. Suite was all that we needed, everything was spotless and clean. The staff were great. The facilities, pools, lagoon, dining were great. We had a great holiday, could not help but recommend the Hilton Grand Vacation Suites - Our daughters were in the Kahlia Tower - more expensive - If I had known what they were, we would have paid extra and stayed in that tower (we were in the Lagoon Tower) We were far enough out of the main town to enjoy the peace and quiet. Our daughter was married in Hawaii, other friends and family stayed elsewhere, we were very happy with our accomodation and all the facilities and pleased we had chosen to stay at the Hilton Grand Vacation Suites. I would thoroughly recommend this especially for families.
“We'll Be Back!”
Hilton Hawaiian Village was the best! Everything was amazing, from the courteous and helpful staff, to cleanliness of the grounds/rooms/facilities and the wonderful array of activities and entertainment on site. It is extremely kid-friendly, which was great considering we were travelling with our two young children. The location was convenient to shopping, parks, and other activities although the Hilton is so grand that you could just stay on the property and still get everything you want! Will definitely be back!!!
“Best getaway ever”
Awesome location, everything we needed was located on the resort and just a bus ride away if you wanted to stroll through the plaza. We took the bus and walked back to the resort not far at all. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly the whole 8 days we were there. I will definitely go back. Don't miss Friday night fireworks we watched it from our balcony!!
“Awesome! Awesome! Awesome!”
We should have stayed here our first trip... already planning our next one!
“Just waiting to see the ocean again”
Our stay at the Hilton Hawaiin Resort in Honolulu was wonderful. I tried to get information about our room ahead of time, but since we needed more room for the amount of people going in our family, we were actuallywere in the condo/time share building. So the room floor plans were not listed. The condo had a full kitchen including dishes, glasses, etc. So I didn't know what we were getting until we actually checked in. We were extremely happy with the room. The view was fabulous, we had view of part of the ocean, and view of the boat harbor. We were on the 8th floor which is high enough for me, since I don't like heights. Every night we could watch the sun set from our room. The hotel staff was kind and very helpful. we were just feet from the ocean. Since we were there when the earthquake hit Japan, the city of Honoulu and the Hotel were very prepared just in case of what could of happened. They kept their guests well informed.
