“i would return to the same hotel again!”

Given with the hotel is older, it is well kept and clean. the staff is very polite and informs you with all attractions around along with transportation.

“Great hotel for price”

This hotel was not extravagant. It was not your typical Waikiki resort. But it is the cheapest place to stay in Waikiki. The staff was friendly, and helpful. The room was small w/o a patio and was not nearly as nice as some of the other hotels...but this hotel was priced great. I would recommend it if you would like a low cost solution to stay in Waikiki. If you want a plush relaxing hotel resort do not stay here. if you want a low cost option, this place will cut your cost dramatically.

“Older place -- good service”

This is an older hotel. It was under some remodeling when I was there. The staff was wonderful to me. The room was clean and quiet.

“It was great for the price!”

It was only 4 blocks from the beach and didn't cost alot. It was clean and the help was nice. It wasn't glamorus but it was affordable. This was the second time we stayed there and will do it again.

“The hotel is very comfortable plus not that expensive and close to everything in waikiki,”

I like this hotel because the people who work there are always nice and happy, and the rooms are good for the price that they offer. The only thing I would say they need is a jacuzzi, they have a huge deck with a nice pool but no jacuzzi..

“Would stay at the Hawaiian Monarch again!”

The hotel clerks are very friendly, helpful and easy to talk to. Our room is very clean and the beds were really comfortable. The hotel location is not far from the beach or Ala Moana Shopping Center. I would definitely stay at the Monarch again! I give the Hawaiian Monarch a 3.5-star rating.
