“I would come back again”

Room was clean, cozy and furnished with useful equipment like microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker. If you're tire of eating outside, it's easy to bring food back to eat at room. Very convenient located, close to shopping, markets and restaurants, the bus stops are in front of the hotel. In room free internet connection is convenient, a printer is located in the lobby's computer area, it's very helpful when you need to print boarding pass as an example.

“Love Honolulu”

My room is next the street so it's so noisy. Everything else is good.

“Right in the middle of the traffic and action.”

The staff and hotel overall were just fine. We stayed on the 2nd floor, street side. It was very noisy and you could smell the cigarette smoke from the foot pedestrians. I would stay here again but on the west side. On the good side of things, when you're in paradise who stays in their room except to sleep. We loved being in this section of town to get the lower restaurant prices from the dives of the locals. Shopping for souvenirs was very convenient here. It is a bit of a walk to the beach. The bus stops are very convenient (right outside, part of the noise).

Area recommendations

Maybe a little further south on Waikiki row. Easier to get to the beach and still close enough to eating at the locals restaurants and shopping for souvenirs.

When to go

Summer time - more humid and sunlight. Winter time - less humid and less light.

Getting around

If you don't rent a car, the bus system is very good and convenient.

What to pack

Shorts, sandals and walking shoes. One shirt. Buy the rest there. And of course bring a swim suit.

Must see

Polynesian Cultural Center. Pear Harbor. Dole Pineapple Plantation. And as many of the great beaches as you have time for, especially Hanauma Bay.

“Great Location”

I stayed here with my wife for three nights, great location, nice hotel. we were on the top floor in the back building, with balacony on the cornor with great view of evrything. Parking was easy and rooms are super clean and very comfy.

Area recommendations

Rent a car and drive all over the island, The diamond head area is very nice as well as the north beachs. Wakiki beach is a must. Forget about shopping, very expensive.

“family trip to waikiki”

Hotel itself is nice enough. The traffic on the street outside is very noisy and the air conditioners in the rooms are very loud. We notified the front desk the first night but it didn't seem to get any better after they looked at it. We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite which was perfect for us as we were traveling with 2 small kids.

“Great Hotel”

I was kinda scared because it was my first time making a reservation online. I had never done one online and I read some of the reviews of other postings and they didn't sound good. But I got a great deal for a Hotel with an Air Flight. They both honored my package deal. I wasn't looking for a steal but it was great. The room was clean and they were very friendly. The only thing to look out for is the extra parking fee if you have a vehicle but just about every hotel over there will have a parking fee. I paid $25 for valet per day.

Area recommendations

Waikiki area by the beach...they have everything there. The island is not that big but traffic is bad.

Getting around

I rented a vehicle so I paid extra for parking at the hotel and it was worth it. Me and my wife also took a trip around the island on the first day with a bus tour so we can have an idea where to drive to on our own. But the bus also had like 50 other people. On the tour as we are driving to some of the sites we only had like 10-15 mins per site because they were on a schedule. As we drove around the island on our own it was just me and her and we had no time limits on how long we wanted to hang around a specific site, like beaches, restaurants, or stores.

“Best Value Except the parking”

“Great hotel for the price”

Almost everything is within walking distance, which is nice because there is no parking in Waikiki. The room was clean and comfortable and very quiet. Just wish there was wifi in the room, there was only Ethernet hookups which didn't work with our mobile devices. Great hotel overall, it was an excellent deal for the price we paid.
