“Waikiki Shore: A Dimond in the Rough”
We loved this place. No it is not the Trump Tower, but it was on the beach and had everything you need for a great stay! We were in room 1214. The view was fantastic!! There was a fully equipped kitchen, although other than the refrigerator, I didn't use it. One note: the coffee is provided the first day free, after that it is $1/package. There was a washer and dryer (I took single packets of wash soap I purchased before had as well as a few dryer sheets from home) and it was great to not have to take a bunch of dirty cloths home! Next door at the Outrigger Reef there is the Shore Bird Restaurant & Beach Bar. It was great! They have a wonderful breakfast buffet. Dinner is a salad bar and you cook your own meat on a big grill. It was fantastic!! Warning: Be careful going in the water outside the hotel. There is a lot of coral and the bottom is very rough! You can eaisly cut your feet! There are buses and trollys for everything so if you don't want to drive, garb a bus schedual. They are easy to use and cheaper than a cab. Our favorite tour was the Enoa tour to Pearl Harbor. I wish we would have booked the larger one now. I thought the small one would be ok, but if you have not seen it all, it is worth the money!! The Sunset Dinner Cruise was very nice. The food was great and it is worth it at least once. Lots of forgin tourists were on this tour. If we go back we will stay at the Waikiki Shore! It is a real gem!
“Hawaiian Sunsets”
We have returned to this Hotel and just as happy with staying there this time as before. Great kitchenette and laundry facility in room. You couldn't ask for a better location. Beach out a private door, close to lots of great restaurants, bus stop to Alamoha very close. Also a new Ross store opened only two blocks away. With all that the icing a the cake is the spectacular view and the magic sunsets.
“Great Location Condo”
We were pleasantly surprised with the great location-next to the beach. Our room was very quiet, considering we were next to the elevator. The A/C in the room was a little loud-older model. And housekeeping did not come the first day. Other than that, it was great and we would return again.
“Would stay there again if returning to Hawaii!”
Finding the hotel was a little bit difficult, mainly because of its location in reference to one way streets. Once we got there and got checked in, walking up to our room was amazing. To our left was a full view of Diamond Head and Waikiki beach. When we got into the room, it was everything we needed and more. The balcony overlooking the beach/ocean/city was incredible. We absolutely loved it! Definitely recommend this hotel to future travelers!
“Great Experience”
During our first stay in Hawaii, we had a great experience with the staff at Castle Waikiki Shore. They were all very friendly and accomondating. I would highly recommend Castle to anyone going to Waikiki Beach area.
“Wonderful Condo: Wonderful location”
The Waikiki Shore is the perfect place to stay if you have more than four in your family. We have six, and the accomodations were extremely spacious and inviting. Like a small home with two TVs cleaned spotless every day!The kitchen was ideal but we didn't use it because there were so many fun eating spots within walking distance to try! We had a wonderful view. The only things we didn't have were the luxurious perks that come with a 4 star hotel (beautiful lobby, pool, cafes) but within moments we realized that we didn't miss them! The location is A+, the beach is wonderful, the rooms were comfortable, pretty and spotless and the staff was very friendly. I would highly recommend the Waikiki Castle Shore and would return any time!!!!
“Great Hotel with Great Views”
Castle Waikiki Shore was everything I expected and more. Convenient to everything. Staff was always willing to help. Being right on the beach was very nice and being next to Ft. Debussy allowed for excellent views with no high rises on one side. They provide beach towels free of charge. I'd stay here again and again.
“can't wait to go back.”
Nice having condo on the beach, close to everything, army museum, abc stores, highend stores(Prada,Gucci,Chanel etc.)
“Condo right on the Beach--Great!”
Condo vacations are great for families. We cooked breakast and some dinners. Ask front desk where to find grocery stores. Having a washer and dryer was a plus. We loved the location. View is wonderful. Watched summer fireworks from our balcony.
“will absolutly return to the Castle Shore”
The best of both worlds, quiet, relaxing, if you like or close to the action, restaurants, bars, and beach action. The room has everything you need, kitchen, washer and dryer and all utensils. having early breakfast on balcony, watching the sun come up, without having to dress and wait for restaurants to open was fantastic.
