“Great localization and perfect instalations.”
I loved this hotel. Great localization, good neighbords and excellent service. I recomend.
“Awesome!”
The hotel is less than 1 block to the ocean. Easy access to everything-- Shopping, restaurants and leisure activities. Elevators seemed to always be available. Staff took great care of us.
“Great Hotel, good for a budget”
Great place to stay and very affordable. In the morning it was tough to find a person at the front desk, but otherwise, we loved everything about the place
“Location, Location, Location!”
Overall the Waikiki Grand was exactly what I was looking for. The Location was perfect and the views spectacular!
“Enjoyed it thoroughly”
I really liked the little studio apartment I was in--the kitchen was very useable, the bed comfortable, and the place was handy for beaches and being near the the Aquarium and Kapoliani park was great. The Starbucks at the end of the block is very handy. I'll go back there should I have a chance.
“relax its hawaii”
the hotel is older, the staff were great, the room was clean its not a 5 star hotel, but i dont go on vacation to vacation in my room
“Convenient, Friendly, Economical”
Nice hotel situated at the end of the Waikiki strip...away from most of the commotion. Clean, comfortable room - small, but served its purpose. Didn't get a chance to visit the lounge on 2nd floor, but it sounded fun. Very quiet room. Proximity to beach was great - took about 2 minutes to walk to the beach. I would stay here again.
“Nebraska Travelers”
My boyfriend and I stayed in Waikiki for the 1st time and found this hotel off of Expedia and by reading multiple reviews. Let me tell you...for the location you get and the price you pay...you can't beat it. Cute, quirky room with fridge, microwave and patio. We LOVED the hotel bar Hulas and all the staff. Perfect for the frugal traveler and I would definitely go back.
“Great Waikiki Beach Hotel”
Aloha, We have stayed here at the Grand a number of times and love the location, the staff and the amazing views (recommend an ocean view room). There is a fun burger joint on property and a very friendly gay bar (Hula's) also on property that welcomes all with a great view. The Grand is affordable and has an amazing location. We will be back many times. Mahalo - J and C
“cheap and good”
If you wanna pay a cheap price for a nice hotel this is a very good choice. In front of the zoo, right next to the beach, close to all of the restaurants and the stores, you don't need to rent a car to enjoy waikiki.Staff is very polite and efficient. Rooms are affordable and fittable to your needs. Some of them have a small kitchen. Besides you only need a room to sleep... 100% recommended!!!
