“Good location and service”
Very good for the reasonable price. We especially appreciated the mini-kitchen in our room, equipped with dishes and cookware. The only glitch was the lack of parking in the hotel garage when we arrived (11:30 p.m.). We were offered "off-site" parking in a nearby shopping center - in theory, quite close, but difficult to find & get into on the 1-way streets of Waikiki in the dark. The next day we requested and were given a spot in the hotel garage.
“very conveniente”
Love the hotel, only 10 floor, don't like highrises, close to the beach, lots of good restaurants. Rooms with a kitchenett, fridge, stove ect.. Nice pool, could use more beds by poolside, only thing hated is the Restaurant smell!!! 6th time in the same place...
“Impressed”
I really enjoyed this hotel and it does have its perks. I was able to at any point call down to the hotel desk and they were able to pretty much help me with anything, they even had a person who planned activities there late at night. The room was very clean and comfortable. They even supplied all the dishes and silverware for the mini kitchenette in the room. It is a pretty secue hotel and the front desk is 24hrs. If I needed more towles, they arrived within five minutes. The hotel is about a five to ten minute walk to the beach. I was very impressed with this hotel and I will be going back.
“Can't complain considering the cost of the hotel”
Staff at the hotel were very pleasant, helpful and courteous. New continental breakfast is an added attraction. My daughter enjoyed swimming in their heated swimming pool. Only 3 blocks from the beach.
“richmond squirrel travel to hawaii”
the hotel was great, the staff is really helpfull and friendly, it is a older hotel but its clean, comfortable, safe great location, the staff treated us like a five star resort with out the exp. the price also allowed us to enjoy more of what hawaii had to offer. its not a five star resort but you get alot more service than we did in some over price resort that we have stayed in, thanks to the staff at hokele.
“Easy, basic and layed back. Not fluffy or pretentious.”
If you are looking for a basic and layed back property this will do fine. It's not new, fluffy nor pretentious. The basic continental breakfast and having the daily newspaper delivered to your door are nice extras. Some traffic noise, but the lani was large and enjoyable even without much of a view on the backside of the hotel. Staff is very helpful. The kitchenett is very nice to have.
“This hotel has all the basics for a good holiday.”
Three of us stayed from March 4th to March 11th on the 6th floor(smoking flrs is 5-6flr so if you are not smokers check yr room when you get in). The hotel wasnt modern or luxurious but it had everything you would need on a holiday clean room, safe, pool, right down to beach mats for the beach, and the breakfast is basic but there are lots of places close by if you want something more. If youre looking for luxury then of course you have to pay for it, we are happy we stayed here we got our moneys worth and the hotel had everything we needed. We went with our sister so we were happy with the set up we had separate room and she slept in the lounge on the sofa couch so it was really good set up for us incl two entrances to the bathroom. It is in a really awesome location close to transport, shopping, beach, really worth it. The only low points were hot breakfast i wouldnt recommend the food looked old although it was only $3 it wasnt worth it. Also our room was a smoking room, we are not smokers but we arrived late and couldnt be bothered going back down and changing it, but we were there when the Tsunami warning came so being on the sixth floor wasnt so bad after all we could live with that! As everyone says if you just need a safe clean place to crash then this is the place if you want luxury and comfort and modern surroundings then spend more on another hotel we enjoyed our stay here would come again tk u :)
“Not luxury but good value”
An aging hotel but clean and comfortable enough for its low price. Room was small, linens getting a little threadbare. Only two blocks from Waikiki Beach, the location is very convenient if you do not wish to rent a car. Staff was very nice; air conditioning & elevators worked, and mini refrigerator was a welcome amenity. A good hotel if you want to stay on Waikiki in a safe, clean hotel but don't want to spend a lot.
“Would use again.”
We were very pleased with our experience at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and helped us out on several occasions on finding things. We had a wonderful stay and would use this hotel again.
“Would stay there again!”
Great location, friendly staff, clean rooms.
