“we're impress and cant wait to go back”
It's is great place to stay like home, and near on beaches and attraction.

Nice view, clean room, large enough. Kitchen included, affordable price. if you're going to have family vacation, this hotel is perfect place to stay.
“Better than expected”
Our room was on the 36th floor, and we had a wonderful view of the zoo grounds, park and a great view of Diamond Head and the ocean. It was better than expected! Although we did not take advantage of the kitchenette, it was well prepped for those who would want to use it. The bathroom was not too large, but sufficient for our use. We were well within walking distance of all the activities, and far enough away for some quiet time as well.
“Wonderful Hotel!!!”
We were so happy with this hotel.. Our suite was beautiful. We were on the 33rd floor with an ocean view. We had a perfect veiw of the diamondhead, and also could see the elephant enclosure at the zoo!! The suite itself was beautiful and well maintained. It was very nce to be able to cook what we wanted and didn't have to eat out for every meal.

everything was fantastic! great location in the middle of everything and pay the extra moola for the ocean view because you also get a view of diamond head crater! going back again

“Good Deal, Great Location”
Great location, decent hotel, only had problems with room availability. We booked online, noted we were on our honeymoon, but at check-in they could only give us a room with two double beds (even though we did book a deluxe ocean view room). It's close to the beach, zoo, aquarium, shops, and excitement of Waikiki and having a kitchen helps considering the high price of dining out.
“Satisfied my needs”
No it isn't a 5 star hotel, but the beds were the best, and the shower is to die for... this was my 3rd time staying at the Sunset and it works for me. Comfortable, great staff, no bells and whistles, but walking distance to the beach, spacious. I will definately stay there again.. which I am. Loved having a kitchen for snacks, breakfast,and lunch. Gave me a lot more options for eating. I'm not a "eat out every meal" person.

Friendly staff, clean room and short walk to the beach make the Sunset a bargain. Another bonus of the Sunset is the information desk in the front lobby. An Island expert is on hand to answer questions during normal business hours. City bus stop within half a block of Hotel Entrance. Hotel shows its age some but in my opinion was still a good deal.
