“Awesome time in Waikiki!!!”
We chose this hotel based on price and location. It did not disappoint us. We were right across from Waikiki beach! The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was a bit small, but it was fine for the two of us. They offer in room coffee, large flat screen TV's and have mini fridges, which I really liked. I don't think you could find a better hotel for the price, and location. I also liked that every room had a balcony, very nice for that morning cup of coffee.
“Great beach location”
The hotel was great! The rooms are very small but we didn't spend much time in the room. Great beach location.
“great place to stay”
Fantastic location. While the room was small when compared to other hotels it was well maintained and very clean. Paying extra for the ocean front room is well worth it.
“annual trip”
Our experience was excellent. this is our second year in the hotel and we would highly recommend it. the roms are small but adequate.
“BEST BUY - GREAT LOCATION”
GREAT LITTLE HOTEL, STAFF WERE EXCEPTIONAL. OLDER HOTEL BUT ROOMS WERE MORE THAN ADEQUATE AND HAD BEEN RENOVATED. GREAT LOCATION - SECOND TO NONE. WOULD DEFINITELY STAY THERE AGAIN. CLOSE TO LOTS OF RESTAURANTS, SHOPPING BUT BEST OF ALL - RIGHT ACROSS FROM THE OCEAN. ONLY ONE VERY MINOR COMPLAINT = THE NEWSPAPER IS DELIVERED EVERY MORNING AT 4AM. THE PAPERBOY FLOPS PAPERS OUTSIDE THE DOOR AND SLAMS THE STAIRWELL DOOR - IT IS ALL VERY LOUD AND ECHOES SO IT WOKE US UP EVERY DAY. HOWEVER, I WOULD STILL STAY THERE AGAIN.
“Great location”
This hotel is conveniently located and the best part, directly across the street from the beach. The rooms are not square or rectangularly shaped and therefore feel a little small, but not bad. Beds are extremely confortable. We had a room on the 11th floor and the wind was horrible - ask for the east side of the building or ocean front if you want to use the lanai. We had a partial ocean view room. I would recommend this hotel -- prices are reasonable and the staff is very friendly and helpful.
“Nice Hotel in the Perfect Location”
We've stayed in a lot of different places in Waikiki and this is our new favorite. The room is immaculately clean, newly refurnished, flat panel TV, new linens, refrigerator that actually works. The staff is really helpful and friendly. Parking is available at about half the cost of other Waikiki hotels. The rooms are rather small, but not as small as a cruise ship cabin. The size was perfect for us. The shower and bathroom facilities were new and quite modern. The hotel is right across the street from the hula show and Waikiki Beach. It is walking distance from everywhere in Waikiki including the International Market but far enough away to be quiet at night. The B bus stops right across the street. A breakfast restaurant opened the day we departed so we didn't get to try it. The room price is reasonable. We have become big Aston fans as a result of this stay and we'll be back.
“location, location”
Rate was reasonable for the location, across the street from the Waikiki beach. Rooms are not big, but clean with a small ice box.. This is a no thrill hotel, but the staff works very hard. The Beach towels, ice, extra linen or towels are handed out at the desk. No restaurants on site, but a lot just steps away including a McDonalds next door. on site Parking is limited @ $15 with in & out . A supply of floats and rafts are available to borrow. We spend each morning at the beach, walk across the street to our room, showered and changed, then rode out to the sites. Return late in the afternoon, changed and out to the beach again. Walk across the street, clean up and planned for dinner, show or shopping.
“Aston Waikiki Circle Hotel - I'll be back.”
The hotel room I stayed in (just me travelling) was compact but adequately served its purpose. The bathroom was clean, the beds firm and a beautiful view from the balcony overlooking the ocean. Definately worth paying the extra for the front ocean view rooms. The staff were friendly and helpful. While not one of the top hotels for 'bells and whistles', for those on a budget or those who believe its more important to experience the destination rather than the hotel room, this hotel will suit your purposes. Located on the main beach road #Kalakaua Ave# with all attractions/restaurants/shopping/transport within easy reach. When I return for my next holiday I know where I will be staying.
“more than what we expected”
