This 34-story, condo-style Aston hotel is two blocks from the International Market Place, three blocks from Waikiki Beach, and four blocks from the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center. The hotel is located on Kuhio Avenue, a main thoroughfare for Honolulu's excellent public-bus line.
In addition to an outdoor splash pool and spa tub, the 34th floor houses a spacious hospitality lounge with a refrigerator, sink, dining tables and chairs, a television, and sofas. Wireless Internet access is available in the lounge (surcharge). Just off the lobby, a convenience store provides groceries, sundries, and liquor.

All 216 air-conditioned guestrooms in the 34-story Aston Pacific Monarch hotel, renovated in 2010, offer furnished or unfurnished balconies with city, ocean, or partial ocean views. The units feature customized solid wood furniture and cabinets in a cherry wood finish.
Studios have kitchenettes with designer series two-burner ceramic cooktops, compact refrigerators, microwaves, coffeemakers, cookware, and dinnerware. One-bedroom units offer kitchens with Zodiaq Quartz countertops and new appliances, including refrigerators with icemakers and radiant glass-top stoves, refrigerators, microwaves, coffeemakers, cookware, and dinnerware.
Amenities include 32-inch LCD televisions with cable service, in-room safes, and high-speed Internet access (surcharge).

Dining
Jinroku - The Jinroku is the Aston Pacific Monarch's restaurant specializing in Japanese cuisine. Featuring an unpretentious menu with an elegant atmosphere, Jinouku specializes in teppanyaki and okonomiyaki dishes. The restaurant features an extensive full bar as well as two private VIP rooms that seat a party of 7, or they can be combined to accomodate 14 guests.
The restaurant serves lunch daily from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM, and is open for dinner from 5:30 PM to 10:30 PM. Reservations are required.
Recreation
Guests enjoy a rooftop splash pool measuring 10 by 20 feet and a spa tub. One floor below, a co-ed sauna has a window providing views of Diamond Head.
Surfboards, boogie boards, kayaks, ocean rafts, snorkel sets, umbrellas, and chairs can be rented on Waikiki Beach, three blocks away. Outrigger canoes and catamarans offer rides from the beach (surcharge). The oceanfront Kuhio Beach Park is a laid-back family destination with an expansive saltwater lagoon of calm, shallow water with a sand bottom. Beach volleyball, sheltered picnic tables, and a finger pier make the park popular with both visitors and locals.

“Quiet hotel”
Great location, just 3 short blocks off the beach. Roof and pool area gets sun exposure all day. Friendly staff, nice kitchen area, lanai had a view of ocean. We really enjoyed our stay.
“Great Hotel, for the $$”
We read the reviews of this hotel and expected little from them, except a place to sleep. However, we where impressed. For the money it was nice, the room was picked up and organized for us everyday. (They only vaccuum every third day)The staff was very friendly and helpful. At the front desk their was a tourist agent for the hotel, very nice and affordable. We did prearrange some activities with Hawaii Travel Network, and they messed up 2 out of 4 times, and wanted to accept no blame. We WON'T use them again.
“Always a great place to stay”
The location of the Hotel/Condo puts you within walking distance of Waikiki beach, shops and restaurants. If you have a chance to stay on the higher floors of the Hotel/Condo, the views of Honolulu are a true gem and worth the effort. Truly an enjoyable place to stay and I always look forward to returning.

Hotel was 2 blocks from the beach and had a beautiful view. All that we needed for a wonderful and moderately priced trip.

“It has everything you need ...”
This is a older hotel but it was quiet, clean, and a couple blocks walk from Wikiki beach and lots of shopping. I would stay there again. Have all the money in hand when feeding the hotel's automated parking machine. It takes cash and provides a parking ticket. There is no attendant. I overpaid because the machine would not take a older currency note and then spit out the ticket. No refunds.
“2nd time there and going again next year!”
I really love this place ! I can afford to stay anywhere but why should I . I 'd rather put my money towards activities , the spa(Hyatt) and shopping. I'll be back!

This hotel is in a great location in Waikiki and has the added bonus of being self-contained. Great for a longer stay.
