“Da best!!!”
Is a nice hotel and make you feel VIP. Good human factor!!
“Perfect for Waikiki”
Wonderful hotel at a great price. Within walking distance of everything Waikiki. Only down side is parking (not enough); but location is so good that we didn't need a car.
“I recommend highly.”
Excellent for the price. Excellent in terms of staff serviices, transportation, parking with a public parking next building, restaurants, beach, many stores around, convention center, entertainments, etc. Noise in the evenings, but I could tolerate especially with ear plugs.
“Superior Staff”
The hotel was hard to find initially...but once there, a superior staff can make your stay great. They were eager to help in any way. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The cleaning staff were friendly and accommodating too.
“aqua wave”
room was very clean and well maintained by friendly staff.it was in a great location walking distance to most activities.a pool would have made the stay perfect however it was undergoing renovations at the time.overall great hotel and very well priced.
“Aqua Waikiki Wave - Great location/can be noisey”
We stayed at this hotel from 4/6/2012 - 4/13. Here is my breakdown: Pro's: - Excellent location, short walk to the beach + all high-end shopping .25 mile walk. - Surrounded by tons of restaurants (including McD's, Subway for you cheapo's) - Next door to dozens of street vendors - Staff was friendly and accommodating - Managers reception "wave party" on Wednesday (free drinks, music and snacks) Con's: - Since its on a main strip, first several floors WILL hear the noise/party at night - This street has hookers, and yes they do stand in front of the hotel at night - Parking your car in the hotel garage is $20/day We paid for (and were given) a room on the 3rd floor. It was extremely noisy our first night. As listed above, this is on a main strip so tons of bars, clubs, vendors, prostitutes - so we complained and were moved to the top floor (15th). Same room setup, just on top floor - and I have no reason to complain. I would certainly stay here again!
“Great Hotel and Great Friendly Staff”
Great location, Great Hotel and Great Friendly Staff. 10min bus to Alo moana shopping centre and the bus stops right out front. walk to the main road in 5 mins. Beach, Restaurants, shops everything! everyone at the hotel was freindly too. free Beach towels. the only thing was the noise at night from the clubs on the street near by. but depending on your room its probably not so bad in some. they do provide you with ear plugs to try and help if you need it. it was ok. not too bad. I would still go back for sure!
“OUR RECENT STAY”
OVERALL THE AQUA WAVE HOTEL WAS JUST GREAT.VERY CLOSE WALK TO THE BEACH,AND SHOPPING ALL AROUND AS WELL,MY ONLY BAD THING TO SAY IS ABOUT THE PARKING,THERE IS LIMITED PARKING AVALABLE.PLUS 20.00 PER NIGHT IS A LITTLE HIGH.BUT OVERALL I WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN.
“Perfect in every way”
We just came back a couple hours ago from a 10 days trip in Oahu. We stayed at the Aqua Waikiki Wave. We, loved it so much that next we visit it'll be there again. This was our first trip to Hawaii and they tried to make it as wonderful as they could. We were generously upgraded to a junior corner suite. Although the division and placement of furnitures could've been better, this room was nothing except phenomenal. Beds were large and very comfortable. There was two small balcony on each walls or the corner with big windows sliding doors. A five minutes walk through the international market and the busy street of Kalakaua brings you to the wonderful beach of Waikiki. A public bus stop right in front of the hotel with buses that go to all main tourist attractions like Diamond Head and Hanauma Bay. At around 2,50$/ride (may be changing without notice), this makes it so much cheaper to travel around Oahu. They serve refreshments and snacks for free every Wednesdays. Close to many shopping opportunities, whether you like big stores of little stands at the market, there is tons of places just around each corners. Great and cheap food at the International Market.
