“GREAT STAY FOR BEING ON A BUDGET”
My boyfriend and I went to honolulu on Feb. 22-27 2010. We were on a budget so the hotel was perfect. The people were nice and welcoming. The room we stayed at was a double. Pretty decent for what you are paying for. Its located behind the International marketplace and right next to Ohana Waikiki West. Its like a 2 blocks from the beach and everything else! We were there when the tsunami warning was issued and good thing we were on the 8th floor and the staff was very comforting and letting us know that evrything will be alright.. Luckily the tsumani didn't come. Overall we had a great time. We weren't in our room that very much so it was worrth it. Can't wait to come back, but of course I plan to splurge a little bit more next time. =) Thanks Aqua Waikiki Pearl! =)
“Best Hotel”
The only downfall was that this hotel does not have a swimming pool...

The Aqua Waikiki Pearl was clean, roomy and the service wonderful. The room has a half size fridge and microwave. The staff were friendly, helpful and went out of their way to meet all needs. Beach towels could be signed out at the front desk. There are laundry facilities on the 3rd floor which were clean and nice to have on site. They also have a vending machine for soap. On the day of our departure the hotel stored out suitcases so we did not have to worry about having them in the car while visiting various venues. Limited parking available, so I called ahead and got on the wait list for parking. It was available when we arrived. A little noisy with outside street sounds, but did not keep us awake.

The hotel is very nice and clean for the price. It is also extremely convenient and close to the beach, shops, dining areas and even the mall. I would definitely stay here again when I come back to Oahu!
“Super”
The hotel staff were very nice. House keeping staff were super. We had a very nice room and would return again. We had no problems with our stay. The front end staff had an out standing person her name was Prescilla she always had a great Aloha smile and if you needed anything she was there to help

“Aqua Waikiki Pearl Hotel”
This is a small hotel in the middle of Waikiki, convenient to the bus lines on Kuhio Ave, and two blocks from Waikiki beach, and one block from the Ala Wai Canal for a quiet scenic stroll. Everybody on the staff was very helpful and very friendly with a "WILL TRY - CAN DO" attitude. To be fair, I have visited many hotels in Waikiki, and all the staff are friendly and helpful, not just from hotel training, but from genuine "aloha" spirit of welcome. I never understand complaints about rude staff, I know people are busy at work when I am on my vacation and they do not need to smile and cater to me constantly, when I ask a question I always get a polite answer.
“Great staff, great price, spacious rooms”
I would definitely stay here again, the staff were lovely, the room was clean and comfortable. Our room as huge, so spacious for the price we paid. Nearby bars and shops were great, although only a couple of blocks walk to the main part of Waikiki beach and shops. Legends sports bar downstairs was great for an afternoon mai tai! Tours and actitivites desk at the concierge helped us plan almost our entire trip, it was a great service that made things a lot easier. Only negative was no pool, but who needs a pool when the beach is just a walk away. Would definitely recommend this hotel, a great cheaper alternative.
“A Little gem right in the middle of Waikiki!”
When we searchecd for hotels, never did we think of looking the Pearl. When we did we were delighted at this little gem We requested early check-in as we were travelling with two young children and arriving on a 6.30am flight. Unfortunately the rrom was not goin to be ready til 3pm so we have to take another room. We were disapointed but grateful. Staff extremely warming, welcoming and helpful. Rooms were huge, clean and very comfy. Bathroom was a decent size and very clean. Beds were comfy and aircon worked well. Only faults, rooms and lobby need more seating. Only seating in room is the bed. Great value for those on a budget. The Pearl is a really little gem found in the heart of Waikiki and I definately recommend.
