A quiet retreat, the Aqua Aloha Surf Waikiki is also conveniently situated within walking distance of the city's bustling shopping and dining destinations. The hotel's 16-floor tower is steps from Waikiki Beach. Kuhio Beach, a popular family destination, is adjacent on the Diamond Head side. The International Marketplace, Waikiki's renowned outdoor market, is only two blocks away.

Guest can relax and sun themselves at the Aqua Aloha Surf Waikiki's outdoor pool and sundeck, or they can walk two blocks to popular Waikiki Beach, where crowds enjoy swimming, volleyball, and other beach games. The hotel also has a guest services agent who can make all the arrangements for numerous recreational activities, including surfing, boogie-boarding, kayaking, ocean rafting, and snorkeling (surcharges). Guests often rent outrigger canoes or catamarans.
Hiking and biking trails are nearby as well as the Ala Wai Golf Course and driving range. Adjacent to Waikiki Beach on the Diamond Head side is Kuhio Beach, a laid-back spot that features an enclosed, shallow saltwater lagoon with a sandy bottom. Beach volleyball, sheltered picnic tables, coconut tree-shaded lawns, and a pier make this a popular family destination.

“2 blocks from the beach”
2 blocks from the beach , restaurants, shopping center and international market, breakfast was great at the hotel too. Great price and good service.
“Great stay. Can't wait to go back!”
We had a great experience with this hotel and would definitely go back again. Our room was very spacious and clean. We also had a nice view of the mountains from our balcony (*we stayed on the 10th floor...had we been any lower our view wouldn't have been nearly as nice). The front desk was very helpful and gave us alot of great advice on how to get around the island. This is NOT a luxury hotel but it was definitely worth the price we paid (and MORE)! If you plan to stay in your room for your entire trip, you may want to look elsewhere. We went to Oahu to explore Hawaii and were only in our room to sleep and shower. This hotel was more than enough for us! Mahalo to the staff at Aloha Surf! We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return.
“great place”
I was surprised at the quality of the hotel. I did not expect this nice of a place. The reservation said two twin beds and I did not notice this until we were in the airport. I was prepared to pay for an upgrade or whatever it took to have a larger room. When we checked in the front desk told me that the room had a double a twin and a sofa sleeper. Perfect for myself and three kids! Location is good, just a short walk to the beach. I can't imagine staying anywhere else in Waikiki.

“great surf theme”
Great location, 3-4 blocks or 10 min walk to Waikiki Beach. The hotel pool was too small and cannot accomodate a lot of people though so that was a little disappointing. Aslo the hotel has nice flat screen tv's in their rooms but they are a little small.
“Helpful staff, convenient location”
We stayed 4 nights and found the location very convenient. The Expedia desk in the lobby was very helpful in planning activities. Front desk was very thoughtful. We found it easy to walk to the beach, restaurants and shops. Don't miss sunset at Duke's.
“Wow, great 2star!!”
I was really impressed with this nice little hotel! My room was always very clean, service and employees were very nice. Continental breakfast simple but fresh. Any questions I had on transportation, restauration.... were always answered with Aloha and a smile. Great experience, would go back anytime!
