“Great hotel for a great price”

Fantastic location, VERY clean. 15 minute walk to the beach, bus stop and general store right outside, 5-10 minute walk to some great restaurants (Chibaken sushi on Ena Rd is AMAZING) and shopping areas. I'm low-maintenance, so I was really only looking for somewhere to hang my hat and sleep. I was surprised to find some nice amenities for the price: a fridge, large bathroom, a safe, cable TV, balcony, a pool, ironing board and iron, bottle opener and cutlery. The staff was always friendly and helpful with any questions I had. Really, this is a fantastic hotel.

“Would Love Stay There Again!”

The bed wasnt great, and the shower was small. But the kitchen was awesome! If you have a big family Id recommend taking larger pots and pans. The location is awesome! Close to the highway, 10 minutes walking distants to the beach, with a coffee shop and store right out the front door! I did have to pay for parking, which was unexpected but worth considering the deal I got on the room. I loved it and will stay there again and again.

“Great Service. Great Price.”

I was shocked to see this place only had 2 1/2 stars. The service was fantastic! We requested more towels and they arrived within 5 mins. I would stay again.

“Helpfull staff, Great location”

This hotel has a great, convenient location. Our room had a view of both waikiki beach and the canal. Right in the heart of waikiki with less than 10 minute walk to the beach. The room service was awesome, we left a huge mess everyday and they did all our dishes etc. The front desk staff was super helpful and printed out map quest directions for our destinations everyday. The parking was $15/day, but definitely worth it, we always had a spot. The only small complaint we could make would be that the bed was uncomfortable, but whatever if you are a traveler on a budget this is a GREAT choice.

“Excellent Hotel Stay”

We were very impressed with the location, the employee service, cleanliness and most everything with what the hotel had to offer. We enjoyed our stay and we would definitely stay there again.

“Great Deal”

In spite of the fact that I requested a king bed room and got a double bed room, I was impressed. The room was well maintained, clean, close to EVERYTHING, and the view was gorgeous. I would stay there again at the rate that I paid.

“Pretty good bang for your buck!”

Pro's: Full Kitchen, cooking/eating utensils, good size fridge, great proximity to shopping, downtown, highway, restaurant and beach, nice clean spacious rooms, decent views, friendly staff, free internet. Cons: $15 parking per day (which is not bad as compared where my friend stayed that same week), no jacuzzi, requested king but they only had several king sizes within the entire hotel. Overall: I would rate my experience as a perfect 10 if it wasn't for the parking. By now, I am well aware that every hotel in waikiki pretty much charges for parking. Note that I said experience and not anything else since this is not a high end hotel. Still, pretty good bang for your buck. We were able to make breakfast in bed for each other and that was sweet. The pro's definitely out weight the cons. I stayed in the superior suite and it was decent. However, the standard studio adjacent from us looked a little runned down but that's just from the outside. Would recommend.

The Ambassador hotel and staff helped make this a vacation to remember. Clean facilities , friendly and helpful staff, good location., good value hotel.
