“Great Golf Place!”
The hotel itself is somewhat dated, but still quite nice. The rooms were clean and quiet. This really is a resort , and the best reason to come here is for the golf. The golf course is first rate. The hotel is right on the golf course. The food is the best in the area, but it is an area without much competition. We hope to return again next year.
“Getting away from it all”
The food was excellent but a bit pricey. Loved the breakfast. Resturant service a little slow, but we were on vacation to relax and slow down anyway. Actually the whole PEI was a slower pace which we liked. Golf course was my main attraction especially after Big Break PEI. Liked the golf at Mill River very much. Found some great bargins on apparel in the pro shop which is in the hotel. Don't expect to run down the street to a fast food resturant as you are out in the sticks here. Lots of mosquitoes at night especially toward dark on the golf course.
“Great for Kids!”
We had a great time here. It is very baby & kid friendly. They have a good kids menu and a wonderful swimming pool with water slide. Good for hours of fun.
“Milles Resort / PEI”
The hotel needs to be refresh , carpets, rooms etc..
“Old But OK”
The grounds of the Resort were beautiful. Tennis courts, golf course, volleyball pits etc. We walked into the hotel on a day that was 35C outside that has no air conditioning except for window air conditions in the rooms. Unfortunately no one turned it on for us. Whew. It was uncomfortable and we had to leave for a few hours to let it cool off a little. In its day, I am sure it was lovely. It needs to be updated, but all things were clean. The meals were great and the staff were pleasant and helpful. My children loved this hotel because the waterslide was "amazing". They had a fantasitc time going down this fast, spiral slide.
