“Little Gem in a busy city”

Check in was very fast, under 5 mins. I was very impressed with the quality of the room for the price. I will definitely stay again when needed.

“Pleasantly Surprised”

First of all, getting to this hotel/motel is easy even for someone not familiar with LA's streets and freeway system. You exit I-5 South and it's right there. We called the hotel to inquire about late check in and it was available until 9 PM - very convenient. The whole process of getting the keycard took maybe 2 minutes. Staff was friendly and helpful, much better than at some upscale places. What can we say about the room? Excellent!!! Rooms were either freshly remodeled or kept in a perfect condition. Fresh and clean linens, towels, sparkling clean bathroom. If you've stayed in low budget hotels/motels before then you'll understand what a great value this little gem is. Despite the room being on the first floor the night sleep was quiet and proximity of the freeway didn't bother a bit. Morning check out took maybe a minute. Not sure if they had a night staff on duty but all cars (and there were some nice ones) were safe and untouched. One thing we would suggest when staying in Rodeway Inn in Norwalk - when you go to a local food dining place, drive and don't walk no matter how close that place is. Norwalk is not the worst neighborhood but driving is much safer option. And there are many dining options around - Subway, Danny's, Sizzler and a local pizza place. Almost afraid that after this review travelers will pack this hotel but it is true - whether traveling on a budget or not, you can't find a better place to stay in LA!

“Nothing fancy, adequate accomodations”

Stayed one night. Room was simply furnished and clean. Walmart across the street for forgotten incidentals and a Dennys located within 5 minutes walk. Only negative is that hotel is located on a busy highway and can be noisy during normal traffic hours in morning and afternoon.

“Very reasonable”

This place was central to L.A. and Orange County and right off the highway. It was very comfortable, affordable, and convenient. The only issue might be traffic sounds if you are a light sleeper. Will stay at Rodeway Inns in other cities!

“Average hotel but OK value”

We stayed one night in this hotel. It is conveniently on the side of the highway. The room is clean, overall condition is reasonable considering it is a little cheaper than the other 2 star hotel chains. One thing I want to vent about is they claim to have complimentary breakfast, but really it is just coffee and juice. Do not claim anything you do not offer. I am neutral on whether I am going to stay there again. I would probably try to experience other hotels around the area if we were going there again.

“Great Stay”

This motel has been renovated so the overall cleaness is great. The restroom is new and clean. The bed is comfortable except the blanket is old and kinda dirty. Parking is complimentary so everything is great except location. If you are asian then the location of this motel might be too far from asian foods and shops. Otherwise, this motel is located centrally between hollywood, orange county, and chinese area.

it is family maintained hotel and nice to stay, it is located near by good restarunts for food.
