This was a good choice for seeing the sites of the north coast of Australia. Our unit overlooked the ocean and was convenient for self-catering. Good bathroom with separate shower area from the beds. Comfortable king bed enabled a good night’s sleep. Good WiFi and TV. Very quiet at night. Secure car parking and well-defined access to highway. Staff were great with check-in and information.

Not our first visit and won't be our last!
This was our first visit back here with the new owners that have taken over just 7 weeks prior. There isn't much difference at the moment, we had towels changed daily though was happy not to have this done. Also, the cleaning staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are getting dated with their furnishings (stayed in the motel part) but they are more than comfortable and the bed and pillows appear to be on the newer side. Like sleeping on a cloud! There was a but of a funky smell in the unit when we arrived. Could have been old cooking smells from the previous guest or a combo of that and older furnishings, so maybe a dab of some eucalypt oil around or what have you may have helped. We just opened the windows and sprayed some smelly stuff around. We will definitely stay here again when we go home for family visits and i cant wait to see what the new owners do. Such a great little spot, so close to everything... and the beach just out your door is a definite advantage (though not a patrolled beach). Thank you again for making our stay so comfy 🤗
