At first hotel staff wouldn't let us check in as we arrived 15 minutes before check-in time of 3:00PM. We'd been on the road 9 hours and were hot and on our way to a party, so asked if we could use the lobby restrooms to freshen up and change. They said we could. When we came in with our suitcases and headed to the restrooms they decided it would be OK to let us check in. We were grateful, but a little surprised that they were actually not going to let us in because we were there 15 minutes early.
The room was surprisingly spacious and comfortable. No microwave or fridge, but that wasn't necessary for us. The continental breakfast was very good.

The room was huge. It had a complete kitchenette.. It could have been cleaner. The bathroom could have been too,,, But the beds were clean and comfy. With 4 kids and me, we had 2 double beds and a pull out couch. It worked well... I would stay there again if I needed to stay in the area longer. It was close to the highways, stores, gas stations, restaurants, everything we needed. The overnight manager, George, was incredibly helpful and nice.. The person during the day was accommodating, but could have been a bit friendlier. Overall, it served our purpose well!!!!
Housing a population of just over 12,000, this small Akron neighborhood is primarily suburban. Single-family homes and large estates on substantial lots are found in this area. Visitors may want to shop along West Market Street's local retail establishments, or spend an afternoon at the Sand Run Metropolitan Park.
