The Washington Suites Alexandria hotel is less than 2 miles from a Metro station and 8 miles from the nation's capital. Dora Kelley Park, the largest park in Alexandria, is less than 1.5 miles from the Washington Suites Alexandria. The park features walking and biking paths, as well as areas to sit and enjoy the scenery, including Holmes Run Creek. Guided walks with a naturalist can be arranged at the Buddie Ford Nature Center within the park.

“Great for families”
The 2-bdrm appt. which was great for family of six. Living room and full kitchen made for an economical vacation! Continental breakfast was a bonus.

“Great Hotel in DC”
Great Hotel! It's close to D.C. (8 miles), just a short drive which puts you right at the Ronald Reagan public parking, the hotel room was large with two queen beds and a pull-out sofa bed. Kitchen was enough to cook for evening meals, nice continental breakfast, free hotel shuttle to metro and they are a pet friendly hotel. Hotel is close to the mall, park, Walmart, restraunts and movie theater, in case you want a break from DC. I'd stay again.
“Best Stay For Your Dollar”
The staff made the stay incredible. The food down at The Lounge on the 2nd floor was fantastic and priced incredibly well for a hotel restaurant. The shuttle was almost always right there for us to hop into, but if there was a wait, it was no more than five minutes. The shuttle would also take us to anyplace within a mile from the hotel, which included several convenient stores, a Giant grocery store, and a McDonalds. The rooms were clean, and everything was in working condition. Couldn't have had a better stay.

We had an amazing experience at this hotel. We will plan to stay there every time we visit DC. Extremely spacious rooms, delicious breakfast, close to Washington DC.

“Comfortable, clean, and a great online deal!”
We had stayed several years ago and had been pleased; this stay we noticed that the rooms seemed more updated in style. Our room was extremely clean, comfortable, and had recognized some staff that still are employed there after a couple of years. I think that has a lot to say about their job satisfaction. We noticed several groups and many families. The hotel has shuttles to the metro and mall, which is desirable for groups. My only complaint was how thin the walls seemed; you could clearly hear people's conversations from adjoining rooms, and in the hallways. Thankfully, people for the most part were quiet! Continental breakfast included and free parking!
