“Excellent experience, highly recommended”
Excellent place and Value. Nice, new, modernistic rooms, friendly and helpful staff, indoor pool. Booked room for a family spring break getaway, and will not hesitate to use this hotel again. A few minor quibbles: 1) Only one washer and dryer for customer usage. Not one room or one per floor, one, period. 2) Shuttle service was inconsistent, as they were in the process of finding a new driver. Since this hotel is just past the last metro station, any cars departing after nine or so in the morning may not be able to find a parking place at that particular station. So a more efficient shuttle service would have been very helpful, especially for first time visitors. 3) Free breakfast service was a crapshoot. Never enough food, and seemed horribly unorganized, with waits of up to half an hour and frequently running out of breakfast staples and having to settle for muffins or toast. They definitely need work in this area, and lots of it. Still, an amazing value. If you are willing to factor in about thirty to forty five minutes of travel time into DC (via metro, including station wait time), it is easily the most bang for the buck Highly recommended.

“Great stay at Fair Oaks area!”
Excellent stay! The reception area was very clean, open, and different from the usual enclosed and boxed-in check-in at hotels. The people working the desk were very nice, helpful, and friendly. The suite was very clean, functional, and finished, decorated, furnished very nice and inviting.
“We'll definitely stay here again”
We arrived at almost 3am due to travel delays that night. The front desk person greeted us warmly and quickly processed our check-in. We were all exhausted and tired but our room was everything we expected. We had a party of 5 and the room was spacious and very new. The only negative thing about this hotel is that it's quite a drive from the city. But we didn't mind it at all. A minor issue i would say. All in all, if we're back in washington, we'll definitely stay here again. By the way, i wanted to add that their breakfast is a big plus for the guests. Keep it up!
“Loved Our Stay”
My family and I were traveling to see some of the sights in Washington, D.C. We were not familiar with this chain of hotels. We were pleasantly surprised. The decor in the lobby was nice. They had a mini-convenience store in the lobby too. We have two small children and they enjoyed the pool. They had limited hours for the pool (available only in the evenings) to accommodate for the lifeguard on duty schedule. The room was spacious with ample storage and very comfortable. In order to travel into D.C. using the metro rail system, it is recommended for you to use the shuttle the hotel provides. (The hotel has limited drop off times in the morning and pick-up times in the afternoon.) The hotel was conveniently located to nearby stores and restaurants. Their continental breakfast was average; however,my children enjoyed making their own waffles. We are planning to visit D.C. again, and we will definitely stay at this location.
“Great Hotel at a Fair Price and Very Convenient to G.M.U.”
Great hotel, very clean and comfortable rooms Everyone of the staff we encountered were very friendly (front desk, maids, breakfast hosts, groundskeepers, etc). We came to do freshman orientation at George Mason University and the hotel was only about 4 miles away. Very easy to find; I think we left GMU and had to make two turns to reach it. Highly recommended!
