The lobby had such a horrible smoke smell. Overall the room was okay. Nothing like the photo's and the hotel intself just smelt like a giant ashtray

I think it was a good affordable place to stay. I do hope thought they keep track of there vending machines for getting detergent and softener due to them being empty when I was there. They should really invest in having coin vending machine for change and for big dollar bills.

Good Room - Outstanding Value!
For the price, this just can't be beat! The room was very clean and well-appointed, the arrangement of lights in the room was excellent and they all worked, all the plumbing fixtures were in good repair, there was plenty of hot water and good water pressure. There was coffee service in the room. It wasn't perfect; if someone was looking for flaws there are a few, such as scuff marks on the walls and small stains, but, for the price this just can't be beat! No bugs, great heat & A/C, very nice shower (no tub), black-out drapes, comfortable bed and everything clean, orderly, and functional. The breakfast was meager, but again, for this price, I couldn't have been more pleased.

The front desk staff working on november 27th was very rude. She with held my drivers license and debit card over the counter when i was making a complaint about the payment policy. She was smiling while she did all of this .i spent the rest of the money my family had on this booking and this was explained to her while she was taking my license. She stated she was trying to be nice to me , as she was withholding my belongings over the counter . While i understand the payment policy , i dont understand how someone who works in customer service, yet treats customers so terribly. After my husband went back in to request a refund , she insuiated he was dumb by refusing to explain the refund policy and stating , " you dont work in this business , so you wouldnt know " im almost sure we arent the first to review this employee.

Rugs were dirty in rooms, shower leaked & water all over the bathroom floor. Key did not work to get into hotel on side where we parked. Lobby & hallways reeked of marijuana.

Check-in easy, pleasant staff. Room clean, quiet, comfortable ,reasonably well equipped, although had no towels or toiletries. good wifi but TV reception tenuous and remote missing. Small fridge and microwave, iron and board in room. Rugs in common areas in desperate need of cleaning.

The property is in a decent area; walking distance to restaurants, and stores. Unfortunately, there is construction next door to the hotel which does cause noise within the rooms. The back door has the ability give customers keycard access to the hotel, however, the mechanism isn't functioning. As a result, the door is either propped open by customers, or locked and customers must go around the building to gain entry. The main problem I had with the hotel was regarding a lack of basic understanding of ADA law. The law is quite clear, you cannot ask for documentation or proof of a service dog's certification. Unfortunately, staff refused to allow me to explain the law. So, here it is: What questions can a covered entity's employees ask to determine if a dog is a service animal? A. In situations where it is not obvious that the dog is a service animal, staff may ask only two specific questions: (1) is the dog a service animal required because of a disability? and (2) what work or task has the dog been trained to perform? Staff are not allowed to request any documentation for the dog, require that the dog demonstrate its task, or inquire about the nature of the person's disability. My son has a legitimate service dog. He needs this dog for his disabilities. Upon entry to the hotel a staff member asked for the dog's certification. I tried to explain the ADA law to her. She demanded proof and then photocopied the training certificate to "prove to staff the dog is a service dog."

Room was clean. The glass shower door bumped the toilet, very small. The TV had "fuzzy" service. The room was adequate for the location and price. I only interacted with the staff at check in, very friendly. Coffee was good and hot, i didnt eat the breakfast.

Breakfast was EXCELLENT!!! We were on the second floor, and there was no elevator so we had to lug bags up the stairs. Bed was comfortable. Sink faucet dripped all night. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Out of Order
First the soda machine was out of order. Then the ice machine was out of order. Lastly the water fountain was out of order. I needed all of the above. Had to ask for a new remote for the TV. No big deal compared to the above. Rate was very nice and low. The room was fine EXCEPT like all hotels, the pillows are huge and painful to a person's neck. Unfortunately I didn't have my pillow with me so I slept poorly. The woman at the desk was very nice however.
