“Great hotel but too far from DC”
We stayed at the Residence Inn because it offered a 2 bedroom suite at a very reasonable rate. The hotel was exactly as promised. The breakfast was excellent. However, we spent both days in downtown DC. The highways between the hotel and DC were horrible - construction and traffic made our drive unbearable. We will probably stay closer to town next trip. If your reason for travel is in Fairfax, you won't find a better deal. I do not recommend the steakhouse next door.
“Loved our stay”
We came to the DC area to visit our first grandchild and wanted a place that was roomy with a kitchen plus with easy access to the Fairfax county parkway. We were very impressed with this hotel. The staff was wonderful and we loved that they served a full breakfast every day. Next time we visit we will be staying here.
“Great Place to stay”
All the staff were great. I would recommend to anyone. Lots of places to eat & shopping located close to hotel. Or you can eat at the hotel in the evenings also, they provide a nice dinner.
“Great location!”
It was a little hard to find, but it's a great location. Drove to the nearby Fairfax metro station to go into DC. Perfect for our family of four children.
“A Fabulous Place to Stay!!”
My wife and I enjoy a place where we can feel at home and even prepare a meal or 2 ourselves rather than dining out all the time. This hotel was the perfect mix for us. Mon thru Thurs they had options for free dinners at the hotel including a great BBQ on Thursday evening. The breakfast buffet had everything you could want for breakfast. Of course the best option some days was a leisurely breakfast prepared in the kitchen in our room. The room had a separate bedroom and living room so when one of us was tired and the other was not we could do our own thing. Even if this hotel was a little more expensive than others in the future, we would still liklely stay here due to the savings and convenience of eating some meals in our room. Overall a great experience and one I look forward to repeating when in the area again.

“Excellent Fairfax location - family friendly hotel”
We stayed at the Residence Inn for a house-hunting weekend. They were great - hot breakfast daily; everyone had their own place to sleep; centrally located near many restaurants. I would recommend it for family travel to anyone.
“Missouri traveller”
Hotel was great, the room was large, but it would have been better with a king size bed, the queen was a little small for us. The breakfasts were good, and the staff helpful. Unfortunately, it rained all weekend and we didn't get to see much of the grounds.
“Comfortable and out of the traffic flow”
I have had a few stays at this Residence Inn, and have been pleased with each one. The rooms are clean--a studio apartment or one bedroom. The free breakfast is worth $10/person, and has a variety of hot and cold foods. The staff is helpful. The Inn is at the end of a street near shopping and restaurants. Very convenient to US 66.
“Great Place!”
I found the Residence Inn to be a great place to stay. Very accommodating. The room was very clean and well equipped. Enjoyed the extended breakfast and it was close to restaruants, shopping and areas of interest. Easy to get to Dulles Airport to see the new aviation museum.
