“overnight D.C. stay”

We stayed here after a Nationals baseball game. The hotel is only 15 minutes from the stadium. This is a perfect location for anyone visiting Washington or northern Virginia.

“Great Hotel-- Not close to a Parking Metro Station!”

Great hotel. Helpful staff. Clean rooms. Amazing breakfast. (not gluten free) Pool closes at 9pm which is a little early for tourists who are trying to make the most of daylight hours in the city. Not close to a parking metro station. The closest parking metro is Van Dorn Street and is about 3-4 miles away and takes about 10-15 minutes to drive. You could catch the bus which is in view of the hotel; however, if you have to pay for more than two people to ride, you are better off driving to the Van Dorn Street metro and parking for $4.50 a day. From this station, you are about 20-30 minutes to the Metro Center.

“Good location. Comfortable and would go back.”

The hotel staff was very helpful and accomadating. The hotel is appx a 10 min drive to the metro or, if you are brave, a 10 min drive to the city. The location was terriffic. The hot breakfast was typical but hot and fresh. The hotel was clean and well maintained. I was shocked there was a lifegaurd at the pool! We liked the room and the housekeeping staff was good. I would recommend this hotel. It was a great stay for our family of 7!

“Perfect Home Base for DC Vacation”

Wonderful breakfast, beautiful and spacious dining area, free dinners included although we weren't there to sample those on the two evenings we were in town. We had a suite with a kitchenette, two double beds, and fold-out sofa. Very friendly and helpful staff. Laundry (two washers, two dryers, and TV) on first floor. Change given at front desk. Well-supplied and private business center. Although the hotel is located far from the Metro at the western edge of Alexandria, it was not a problem for us to access DC. We chose to drive into DC and park for $15 at a parking lot two blocks from the Capitol. This made sense given the size of our family. A smaller family might find it cheaper to park near the Pentagon or King Street Metro stations and take the subway into DC.

“Excellent hotel - a lot to like.”

Excellent service, nice staff, food was very good (for the free breakfasts and dinners). Room was very nice. Nothing to really complain about. I would go back there is a heartbeat.

“Was a GREAT Hotel”

Our family stayed for 4 nights and it was a great choose for us. We are a family of 7 and the room was big enough for us. The kids loved the waffles for breakfast and the duck pool. The only down thing I could say is the pull out bed is not that nice but I have never seen one that was nice, but 2 of my kids sleep on it and they didn't complain. Everyone is very nice and it is only 10mins from D.C's attractions. I will use again if we take another vacation out that way.

Very comfortable room for our stay with 4 adults. Close to grocery stores and other shopping venues. It met our needs for a place to sleep and shower while visiting family in the area.

“Extremely Satisfied”

This hotel offered everything a traveler would need, especially if you are visiting Washington, DC. Only 7 miles to all the DC sights. The hotel is very well maintained, clean and quiet. They offered daily hot breakfast with a wide variety of foods. The hotel also provided a hot dinner meal, Monday thru Thursday. Pool, hotub, laundermat, executive work area and exercise room on site. Rooms are large with 2 flat screen TV's , complete kitchen, work desk with free internet. Front desk very responsive. Free parking.
