“Tysons Tyme”
Looking for a reasonable, no-frills, no-nonsense place to stay in the Virginia suburbs of DC? This is a good pick. It's right at Tysons Corner, which is a major commercial hub in the DC area, near any number of restaurants, but it's very quiet and almost feels secluded (it's right on the edge of a residential neighborhood, and is on a through street but nowhere near as busy as the main highway 2 blocks away). No frills, as I said -- you can opt for as much or as little maid service as you want. For a long weekend stay I opted for none, which worked out just fine. TV was good, Internet access good, temperature control in room good... a pleasant bench out front for smokers... really satisfactory in all respects.

Hotel was nice and clean. Bed could have been more comfortable.
“not overly impressed”
hotel was easy to find. was a little suprised that there was not a pool or hot tub. We had ants in the kitchen area and even with repeated spraying, they still were visible. The staff were as helpful as they could be, but they appeared understaffed in some situations. When we checked in the front desk clerk was in another area watching t.v. and had to be found.

The entire hotel smelled like cigarettes. As a non-smoker(and former smoker), I found this to be very uncomfortable.
“A basic bed in a convenient location”
No indication there werent breakfast facilities at the hotel. Not much available in the area. No room service. Room was not serviced in the 2 nights I was there. Coffee facilities only in the room - ever tried making tea in a coffee maker? Front desk attendants barely spoke English. Took 45 minutes to make contact with front desk by phone as it was unattended and there was no redirection service in place. Location was convenient and the price was fine.
“Just OK”
This place is well suited for an extended stay. I doubt we'd stay again though. The chairs in the room had unknown stains on them and the bed wasn't all that comftorable. It was well situated for shopping and trips into DC. Construction in the area made for quite a mess with traffic. I guess for being close to DC this was a decently priced place. I'd pay more for better next time
“Not Impressed.”
I've stayed at nicer Comfort Inn's and Motel 6's. Definately on par with a really cheap hotel stay. Lumpy, uncomfortable beds, no amenities, no customer service, no maid service. Generally bad. The neighborhood wasn't too bad, but the quality hotel experience just wasn't there at all. Cheap everything.
“Very disappointed”
Hotel clerk was not at desk upon arrival and was slow to come to desk. When I tried to call the desk late one eveing, there was no answer. Several items in teh room where in need of repiar and the room was cramed and small. Had to crawl over side chair to get to closet or in and out of bed. Worst room I ever had and at such a hight price

This hotel is being renovated. You should have warned me.
