“great deal and freeway close”

I reviewed Expedia comments about this hotel and like what I read. It lived up to my expectations and then some. Free breakfast saved me money and time and the two lobby computers and printer allowed me to check e-mails and get quick business done. The hotel is freeway close which is important and I ate at the Red Lobster next door twice which was good 20 yards away from the hotel which was convenient. the staff was very good and I had to use their assistance a few times with no problems or attitudes. they were great and I'm glad I read the previous Expedia comments beforehand. Clean, cheap, free breakfast, computers and printer and freeway close with safe parking and Red Lobster next door. It was a great deal for me.

“Quick getaway!!!”

Very nice hotel with a good free breakfast. Rooms were very clean and staff was great. Rooms were a little tight for my family of 4, but comfortable. Would love to stay again next go around...

“Hidden Gem”

My friend and i only stayed overnight but the room was clean, beds comfortable and the hotel staff extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast bar made it very convenient for us. We ate at the hotel and were able to hit the road on a full stomach.

“Rooms tastefully redecorated!! Excellent value for DC area!”

Rooms were very nice! Comfy new beds & flat screen TV. Nice linens,granite counters & new carpet! We were late arriving (2:00 a.m.) and lost. Could not get the hotel to answer the phone. Finally found it and had to wake the front desk man up, only to find that our reservation had been cancelled. He apologized & found us a room right away!!

“nice hotel”

they remodeled the hotel so the hotel is modern and comfortable. the location is ok, if you have limited budget, consider this one. there are not many restaurants here so buy some food or eat something before you come back. i will go back next time.

“great place to stay”

We enjoyed our stay very much. The hallway had new wallpaper which gave a strange smell. But otherwise looked great. The beds are fabulous. Pillows could be a little firmer. Warning...becareful of the $5.00 charge per person over one staying. Bonus: Continental Breakfast

“Delivers where it counts”

This is a business style hotel that does the important things right and I felt compelled to answer the survey email after staying there for a few days recently. The front desk staff was courteous, and the nice man worked with housekeeping to check me in early after my 15 hour journey which meant a lot as you may imagine. The highlight for me was the bedding, which was honestly the best hotel bed I ever slept in. The flat screen HDTV was nice, as was the free high speed wired/wireless internet which to me was absolutely essential. The brakefast buffet was also above average and well stocked even after 9AM during my visit. I don't have super high standards, but overall this hotel exceeded my expectations.

“Great Value, Great Staff”

I did a lot of research to find the right place to stay. I had two recommendations for the Inn at Fairfax, plus favorable online reviews. They were dead on. As we were using public transportation during our stay, the Inn was located conveniently near both the local CUE bus, and the Metrobus line. From there, it was an easy skip into DC (and to the 'Skins game). While it is an older building, with plans of renovation, it is kept very clean. The staff at the Inn are very friendly and helpful. I'm glad that I followed the recommendations, and stayed at the Inn at Fairfax, and would recommend it to others
