“Fun in Fredricksburg”

The hotel was clean, staff very friendly and helpful. I had car trouble so had to get a hotel room. This hotel was located near lots of shops and restaurants, but was not in the thick of them, so the hotel was quiet and peaceful. We arrived a bit before check-in but were allowed to get into our room early. Beds were comfortable, lots of towels in the bathroom. Coffee maker in room. Breakfast was fine...make your own waffle, cereal, fruit, yogurt, bagels, some pastries, hot coffee, juice. Despite the car repair, I enjoyed the visit.

“Hampton Inn at Celebrate Virginia ROCKS!!!”

The Hampton Inn at Celebrate Virginia offered everything we needed for our one-week stay during the National Scout Jamboree! Melody, our housekeeper, made sure that we had everything we needed and more. Breakfasts were great and the "to go" bags came in very handy when we needed them. The laundry room was a real convenience to us! The pool was wonderfully kept and towels were plentiful. The location was "a few miles from anywhere" and was very close to numerous restaurants and shopping at Central Park and historic Fredericksburg. The Front Desk staff was very helpful with directions and all questions. The small sundries area was helpful for us to purchase forgotten items. My 10-year-old son LOVED the cookies in the lobby! We will definitely stay there again! We love Hampton Inn!

“great stay”

I arrived 3 hrs. early and was allowed to check in earlier than the usual check-in time of 3pm. The staff was courteous and professional. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. There are a lot restaurant choices nearby. Free WIFI connection. I would stay here again.

“Only at Hampton Inn & Suites”

My husband recommends the Hampton Inn & Suites to all of our friends and family and we use whenever possible. We thought the room was wonderful, bright and had a nice view. Room was clean, comfortable and roomy with a great arrangement of the furniture. We were very pleased and happy with everything and the breakfast was a delight with a wide range of eats and ample room for all. We would recommend and plan to use this inn again at different locations also. Thank you everyone!!!!!

“Clean and comfy”

Could not accommodate early check-in that day, but allowed me to enjoy the outdoor pool until my room was ready. Room was very clean and comfortable. Fresh, tasty complementary breakfast in clean, roomy dining area. Not cramped and cluttered like other hotels. Close to shopping and dining.

“please hire experienced polite desk help”

i have never witnessed such rude and nasty desk help,nor have i ever heard of it.the woman at the desk,was very nasty,with a customer checking in before me,who also happened to be my sister!the very young woman was so out of control she was trembling!i dont know if it was a busy week or she possibly may have been medicated.i have no other reason to explain her rudeness.to make things worse after returning home,my wife saw there were 2 charges respectfully of 35 and 15 dollars.as we did not even turn the tv on,my wife called.the desk auditor/clerk/high school help was very unhelpfull rude and once again nasty and hung up on my wife!!!!!!!! after having to call back the woman informed my wife(who has worked in customer service for 20 yrs plus)that she was being aggressive!after a apology that had laughter in the background! my wife was told it was probably a hold placed on card,and there was nothing she could do!,i have already sent an email directly to hilton/hampton with no response!i also believe i replied to another expedia survey!?????the room was nice but....i do not think i would recomend that hotel to anyone,considering the lack of response,and lack of profesionalism displayed.or experience.laughter should not be a part of customer service,nor rudeness,my other sister lives in locust grove and i plan on visiting again,but where will i stay?what is your opinion
