“Very nice hotel in a good location near D.C.”

In May of 2010 I checked in to Hampton Inn Alexandria near D.C. I liked that the hotel was centrally located directly off the interstate on a main road with a variety of shops and restaurants located nearby. The hotel was very clean, and the desk staff cheerful and helpful. My room appeared to be recently updated. I was also pleasantly surprised to find my room's temperature very comfortable as soon as I entered. I will definitely recommend this hotel and will use it again on the return trip up to D.C.

“Perfect choice for Greater DC Days and Old Town Alex nights”

Couldn't be happier with the accomodations, staff and price vs. location. Very, very good and convenient at a much better price than others. We were two adults and two teens. All of us were happy.

“We had a great time!”

We went to DC to go to a political rally. It was hard to find a room but we did at the Hampton Inn, Alexandria. We arrived very early in the morning (4am) and the man at the desk was waiting for us. The room was fabulous - very comfortable bed, very clean and well equipped. The staff at front desk were very helpful with calling cabs and were friendly. The breakfast was abundant and quite decent. It was overall a wonderful experience. The only drawback was that we did not have a car so we had to pay taxis to get to the metro station and Old Towne which got expensive.

“Much nicer than Expected - Perfect Family getaway to DC”

This hotel was great. Most importantly it was super clean. The food was good too, full breakfast included. We stayed for one week on vacation, traveled to DC most days via the Metro. Surpisingly there was a beautiful pool with a lifeguard. This was unexpected because the hotel is located off the highway. There were restaurants and shops close by. We took the Metro (to DC) from King St. which was close by, that worked out perfectly. I would definately recommend this hotel to families as well as business people.

“Great Place”

We staid here over Thanksgiving because we were visiting someone who lives just next door. The place was one of the least expensive in the area but by no means cheap. Rooms were large, clean and the lobby was quite nice with cookies, coffee, tea all day/night. Breakfast was included and much better than at most other Motels in the same price range. Would definitely stay there again!

Clean, friendly staff, good breakfast. The only drawback is that it is not near the Metro.

Wow, for a Hampton Inn and similar this has to be the nicest property out there. Very impressed. Would go back in a minute.

It is really comfortable and close to old town. Not a walk distance, but not really far as well.

“Excellent stay”

From the time my Wife and I checked in to the last day we were treated excellent. Leaving early in the morning before breakfast buffet opened they actually starting packing us a brown bag with a snack bar, fruit and water left at main desk every morning. When I had a chance to enjoy breakfast, the area was clean, along with numerous options. Staff offered me pre printed directions to tour DC via Metro transportation, kept room cleaned every day and all were very friendly greeting with a Good Morning:, etc every day. I will definately return to this Hampton in future. THANKS HAMPTON STAFF !!!
