“What I expect at Embassy Suites”
Great experience
“Great Breakfast”
We were treated very well. As noted above, the breakfast menu was excellent. The omelet chef was terrific.
“thank you”
its a wonderful hotel in a very good area and worth price
“Excellent family choice!”
We had a wonderful time at the Embassy Suites! We wanted a pool suitable for a child and a free breakfast (which was delicious). The beds were very comfortable and we did not have to worry about bedbugs! The staff was super nice and so were the other families there. We also loved the hors d'oeuvres and complimentary drinks. We will definitely go back!!
“Added to our FAVORITES list!”
At exceptional hotel and definately on our favorites list for the DC area. The room was clean and up-to-date. The bed was quite comfortable. The bathroom well maintained. We felt very much at home during out stay. The complementary breakfast buffet was a nice surprise with a great assortment and made to order omlets! The only negative is out of their control...major construction on the main street. But when complete, it will be much quieter in the morning and have great access to the beltway. You definately can't go wrong with this hotel.
“very nice”
we will definitly stay there next trip to the dc/va area
“Long weekend in Washington”
Very pleased with our hotel. Especially liked the complete breakfast, the manager's reception, and the complimentary shuttle to the Metro station.
“Great staff & service!”
This was my family's first trip to the DC area...our 2 kids are ages 6 and 8. Embassy Suites was REALLY great---the staff was super friendly and helpful with answering our many questions. :) The only negative for us was possibly location. There is a metro station within a few miles, and the hotel provides a shuttle service (free) to the station. It was a pretty quick ride into DC, and the shuttle there was fine. We were really disappointed, however, when we got back to the metro station later that evening (after having walked all over the city with our children) to find that we'd have to wait 45 minutes for our shuttle to arrive!! My daughter had her first official meltdown at that moment, and being hungry and tired, we opted to take a taxi. The next day it didn't take too long, but we also planned accordingly so that we wouldn't be totally exhausted while waiting. Just a heads' up! There was also lots of construction around the hotel, making it a bit difficult to drive nearby. All else was great...the omelets are great in the morning, and happy hour is a nice touch as well. Overall great! We might stay at an ES closer to the city next time, however.
“Super Hotel”
Other than one of the two elevators being down and all of the construction, this was one of the best hotels I've stayed at. The staff and management were professional and friendly. The breakfast was fantastic. The manager's social was quite impressive. The rooms are spacious. The bed was very comfortable. And the price was lower than any other's in the area. Next time I am in the area I will be staying here again!
