“Weekend stay in NoVA”

It has been nearly two decades since we stayed in an Embassy Suites Hotel; however, our experience at the Tyson's Corner location will insure that we don't remain strangers for an extended time period again. We liked the feel of the large open atrium. The rooms were clean and we found the extra blankets (and pillows) useful. The entire staff was pleasant and helpful. Absolutely love the complimentary breakfast. They even made egg white omelets for us. Several minor issues include the Metro Rail Silver line construction out front which makes accessing the hotel from the east difficult. The exercise room is dated as well. Adding some new equipment would be nice. Lastly, wi-fi access should be free. Ridiculous to charge for this when places such as Starbucks, Paneras and B & N have it for free.

“Exceptional staff”

Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Elevator was broken but they opened the freight elevator to guests. Hotel wasn't brand new but despite elevator was generally clean and staff was extremely responsive.

“Overall it is perfect hotel.”

Nice pool, really great service, and great breakfast menu. Polite manager, Hot tub! Comfy bed, clean sheets. The stairwell was fairly gross though.

“Great stay!”

One of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. Great breakfast! The managers reception was great, unlimited open bar for 2 hours with great snacks. Staff was awesome. Free shuttle to metro station. Great place for families, pool was great. Price awesome.

“Great for families, close to amazing shopping.”

Lovely experience, nice staff, suite-like with two rooms. Perfect for families. The bed was a little hard but Got used it t by second night. Will definitely stay there again. In fact, in this trip, for a family reunion, relatives were scattered across various hotels. By the second night, we had convinced everyone to move to this one--and they did. Less than a mile to Tysons I and Tyson II shopping malls. Hotel shuttle takes you to metro stop.

“DC trip”

Had a great time. Quite a distance from the Metro to go into DC, but the hotel shuttle brings you and picks you up. If you're into being able to walk to things, this is not possible, but they do have the shuttle to take you places.

“perfect location!”

stayed here while checking out the 100th cherry blossom festival in washington, dc. perfect location...away from hustle and bustle of the city but close enough for a bike ride into the city. if you would rather not hunt for a parking space when in dc, this hotel is close to public transportation options. staff was very helpful in recommending a safe bike route. as friday was the only sunny day, took the bikes and rode around vienna on saturday; a quaint town with a lot of history. if you are an avid cyclist and experienced rider, it's not a long bike ride to great falls national park on the virginia side of the potomic river or you can cross the bridge and go into maryland and pick up the c & o canal trail at glen echo national park. ride it north to great falls national park and visit olmstead island; a boardwalk takes you to the falls...magnificent! you can look across and see where you were on the virginia side! the location of this hotel is fantastic if you want to explore the natural beauty of virginia and maryland. after a long day of riding and hiking what better way to rest and recuperate than in the comfort of this hotel...the beds are sooo comfortable! the staff is friendly and helpful and the complimentary breakfast buffet will fuel you for your adventurous days! you won't be disappointed with this location or accommodations! enjoy your stay!

“My best hotel experience”

It was my third stay in this hotel, I recommended it to all my friends. It is clean, service is great and I am in love their omelet. The location is convenient and the free shuttle makes life easier. highly recommended.
