“good hotel at Washington DC”

If you do not mind 30mins metro ride to Washington DC, and less powerful fan in bathroom, which cannot clear the humidity after shower, this is good hotel. I did not mind those things, actually.　Path to metro station was a bit scary for 3 girls at 10 pm, but it was safe. We did not see any dangerous thing at all. Our room was very clean and a had hair dryer. So, I recommend you this hotel.

“Spring break”

The hotel was easy to find,right off the freeway The room was clean and well stocked-4 towels for 4 guests the location is in the Falls Church area a beautiful neighborhood in Arlington.

“Nice Place”

This hotel did the trick. It was a nice place to unwind after a long day out. Nothing fancy, but very functional. Breakfast was a bit weak. No meats! Otherwise, good to go.

“NSF site visit”

The hotel is solidly build and quite quiet, with excellent intra-room insulation. The rooms are comfortable with the usual amenities. The metro is a very comfortable 5 minute walk along a demarcated trail. It is one stop to Ballston metro, so ideal for NSF/NIH visits. Quite well priced.

Hotel was not real up-to-date but it was clean. It was priced reasonably for the excellent location of 3 blocks from the subway. The neighborhood was quiet with friendly businesses.

Hotel is a good value for the buck. Located a few minutes walk from a metro stop which allows you to avoid being in the city (and paying for it). Short distance from Dulles so it is easy to travel. Staff was very helpful with recommendations for restaurants and travel tips.

Clean room, very satisfied but nothing much to do do around the hotel. Good choice if you just want a clean place to spend the night.

“Recommend with caveats”

My wife and I stayed here and we always try and find a motel near the Metro. This motel is about a 1/2 mile walk from a station down a dark jogging trail and then a long flight of stairs. Not recommended for elderly or out of shape. The ground floor lobby is actually the second floor. No elevators to the first or third floors. The continental breakfast was wholly inadequate and better off not even trying to provide one. Fortunately there is a national chain sandwich shop next door that serves breakfast. Rooms were clean but the bathroom and lavatory area was extremely small. Comfortable bed. No closet, refrigerator or microwave in the room we stayed in. Difficult to get into and out of the parking lot and had limited parking. Pictures on the motel description were misleading showing palm trees and a pool.

Positives - Friendly staff. Clean, quiet and comfortable room. 6 minute walk to the Metro. Conviently located right off interstate 66. Negatives - Hot and steamy in the halls and common areas. One icemaker out of service. Dirty or stained carpeting in the halls. Run down service road with a few abandoned buildings between the freeway and the motel.
