Skydome Lounge - Billed as the Washington area's only revolving rooftop lounge, the Skydome makes a complete revolution every 45 minutes. The lounge has a small dance floor with colored lights and mirrored ball, and karaoke has been known to break out during happy hour.

“A great hotel for students on or not on a budget!”
A great hotel for students who are visiting DC. This place is near all the major attractions like the National Mall. The Hotel rooms are beautiful, the staff cordial and they have facilities like free cloak rooms, which come in real handy!

“Weekend Stay”
My friend and i arrived earlier than expected and when we called to inquire about am early check-in the woman at the front desk was not very helpful or friendly about it. Other than that the stay was great.

I really enjoy this hotel nice and clean. The resturant view is priceless food okay overall great stay. I will be returning.
“Great hotel, great overall experience. I would stay there again”
I don't have anything negative to say about the hotel, it's great. You don't need to leave the hotel for any meals or snacks. The Cafe Restaurant has good food, and the 'grab & go' counter outside the restaurant is convenient and open late. The Windows over Washington restaurant has great atmosphere and the view is spectacular. The menu doesn't offer a lot of choices but the food is excellent and so is the service. I recommend viewing the menu from the hotel's website in advance to get an idea of food and prices. The gift shop is open until 11:00 pm and sells souvinirs, snacks and toiletries. It's easy to get to the famous sights from this hotel. There is a shuttle that runs every 30 minutes to a Metro station which is right by restaurants and shopping. From that station it's a short ride to Arlington Cemetery and the Washington attractions. Our room was clean and comfortable. The exercise room is large with a lot of equipment - one of the best I've seen in a hotel. The pool is nice but there is no hot tub. Overall, our experience was excellent and I recommend this hotel.
“Very comfortable”
I found my room to be clean, comfortable and inviting. The staff was terrific, very friendly and accomodating. Extra pillows and great in room coffee were most appreciated. Thanks for a pleasant stay.
“Stay here if you visit DC!!”
My husband and I went with our 2 kids (7 and 2 years old). The shuttle, which left the hotel every 30 min., was very convenient, and it took us to the Metro station at the mall so that we could easily board the metro to go into the city. The greeters/valet workers were very helpful and gave us excellent directions about what to do when we drove up. The hotel and room were very nice. We could see the city and many of the attractions from our hotel window, so our kids enjoyed the view. We felt very safe in this location, and when we go back one day, we will stay in this same hotel again.
“Will definitely return!”
Everyone at the hotel was most helpful. Their shuttle, which ran frequently, made it so easy to access the Metro system which I used daily to get into DC. The shuttle also took me to Reagan Airport. This made it so very easy for me. I would definitely recommend the Doubletree-Crystal City. THEY wanted me to enjoy my stay....and I did.
“Great”
The hotel staff was outstanding. The room was well maintained during our stay. The hotel is a reasonable walk to the Metro, but based on the recommendation of family members who live in the area, is not one you want to do at night. Taxi service is convenient, however. I will definately consider staying here again on our next visit.
“Great value, great location”
We came from South America to spend a weekend sightseeing and shopping. The location was absolutely perfect, and what the DoubleTree provided - clean ample rooms, great breakfast, ease in and out of the Airport subway -- we could not have asked for better. Especially if you're shopping, being two blocks from pentagon center and fashion square is a boon. Also, we were commuting back and forth between Annapolis Maryland. The subway was two blocks from the hotel and a commute was very easy. I've stayed in other hotels in the Crystal City area number more expensive, but certainly this hotel offered the same quality at a much better price with a much better location
