“excellent stay for families”
awesome experience... minutes from downtown eateries, joyful experience. very courteous staff
“Very comfortable”
I got this reservation through Expedia's deep discount program, I was very surprised when I found out I was staying at a Crowne Plaza. It wasn't convenient to the Metro, but otherwise, it is in a good location, near shopping, and has an airport shuttle. They were quick to greet me at the counter, fast to get me checked in and up to my room. The room was mostly typical, but there were many touches like convenient outlets, a fridge, and rollout writing table at the desk that are very nice for business travelers. I ordered room service for dinner, and the food was great, and the bill was not excessive. Finally, the bed was wonderfully comfortable, and I got some great rest while I was there.
“Old Town Ambience!”
When you go to Washington, DC and stay in the Crowne Plaza Old Town in Alexandria you will experience a town of stately row homes, slow moving traffic and a Old Town shopping area that will take your breath away. My wife loved the little shops and my children enjoyed the homemade Ice Cream Shops. I just enjoyed watching them enjoy themselves.

The stay was a great value. Clean room, efficient and friendly staff. The only surprise was the $20 per day parking fee. They should post that on their Expedia ad.
“My favorite DC area hotel”
I have been with this property through name changes and the recent overhaul of the property. Service has alwasy been tops. Shuttles run on time. The renovated rooms are lovely - definitely a big improvement. The neighborhood offers good restaurant choices within a few blocks as well as the river walk down to Old Town area for more to do and see.

I highly recommend this hotel. The room was very clean, quiet & comfortable. The room service/food was impeccable. I look forward to staying there again.

It was great right off the bat, their shuttle service picked me up at the airport; saved some $$. The front desk was very friendly. The room was very roomy & very clean. The maid service did an excellent job each day. The shuttle service would take me to the metro or airport. It's in a beautiful neighborhood right down by the Patomac River. You can walk along a scenic trail next to the river. Excellent hotel, I would stay again. I can't say if they have a pool, I spent most of my time being a tourist in Washington D.C.
“very happy but dont get lost”
hotel was very nice great price. only problem was we got lost on way there and they could not tell us how to get there lucky for us a guy on the street told us how . Oh and they want to charge you 20 dollars to park a day.
